"SET THE TRUTH FREE"

"MISS KIM, can you please proofread this for me before I submit it to the chief editor?" Said the co-worker who's holding a few pieces of paper at hand while leaning forward on Jennie's desk.

She nodded and pointed at the empty space on her desk. "Sure! Just leave it there and I'll get back to you, what time do you need it returned?"

"Hmm...I guess I'll need it once you clock out? I'll be working overtime today so just give it back to me once you're all good." Jennie nodded at her co-worker's request and went back to her work at hand.

Jennie worked as a journalist in France's worldwide famous broadcasting media company, 'Expédier' and she is known for uncovering the biggest and most controversial stories not only in France but the entire world.

Distance isn't a problem for this talented writer, as long as she has her connections and allies, she'll give you the truth, and ONLY the truth. This is why Jennie has built a name for herself in the media world, say the name "Jennie Kim" and it's enough to spark a conversation in both the public and on the internet.

"Her stories are the best! Always gets me hooked up when watching The Expédier."

"I love reading her fictional columns, not only is she great at showcasing news, she has the talent for creating stories as well!"

"Very pretty girl! I only watch the tv because of her."

Now, Jennie is in the works of probably the biggest story of her career or even the biggest in the world, she didn't even disclose a single piece of information about this to any of her superiors or colleagues but only with her informants from around the world.

"I keep in touch with S ranked spies, at the moment I am working with Park Chaeyoung who's a retired DGSE (Directorate-General for External Security) agent. She is now one of my informants who runs to where I want them to run but the thing is, she's the one who ended up making me work on this scoop that she discovered so I can't take full credit."

"Jennie Kim?" A familiar voice reaches her ears making her turn around. "Chaeyo—" before she could say the name of the latter, a hand covered her mouth preventing her to say anything.

"Hey hey hey hey, what did I say about calling me by my name?" They said with their eyes widened looking straight at Jennie knowing this is a big deal for them.

They soon take their hand off Jennie's mouth enabling her to speak once again. "Ugh right, Rosé! Hey! There, you happy?" She says in a sarcastic tone. This made Chaeyoung giggle and wraps her arm around Jennie's pulling her into a quiet area that's far away from the public.

"Okay, so why in the world did the most amazing person in the mystery field call me out here in broad daylight and even took me to a quiet alley?" Jennie asks with her arms crossed.

Chaeyoung looks around to see that the coast is clear, she then takes out a folder from her shoulder bag and hands it to Jennie.

"Remember the case that I was handling about Yang Hyun-suk? I was supposed to take a hit on him but then I discovered that something doesn't feel right..."
