At the High School premises, Feli checked her students' homework. She was impressed with the poems of some of her students. Since she was looking for a representative for a provincial poetry contest, she decided to suggest her students to the school coach.

Having high hopes for the kids, she proceeded to go to the Poetry club but she bumped into Michael before she could do so.

"Hey, Michael. What's up?"

"Thank goodness I found you before you went home. Can I talk to you for a while?"

"Okay. Sure," she replied as they went inside the school canteen.

"We're dating already," Michael whispered, as if afraid someone would hear him.

"That's great! Congratulations," she was genuinely happy for him but she sensed that there was something more than what he was letting on.

"Thanks. Anyway, I want to talk to you because the two of us are still new to this, right?"

"Right."

"But we're already fighting about petty stuff. I thought we would at least have a honeymoon phase, you know? I just don't understand women," he said.

"Hey, watch it! You're talking to a woman."

"Sorry."

"Look, I don't know what's happening between the two of you. What I know is you shouldn't be talking about this with me. Talk to her because she might get the wrong idea about your closeness to me," she suggested.

Feli didn't want to cause any misunderstanding, especially since Michael's girlfriend was also working in the same High School. It would not be good for her reputation if she was believed to cause trouble between her colleagues' relationships.

"You think we can solve this just by talking? I don't need to do anything, like surprise her or something?"

"Talk first and find the root of your arguments. And when I say talk, I mean both of you should sit down and take turns talking and listening. Understand both sides."

"I'm not sure I can do that. She seemed to be always irritated that I can't talk to her peacefully."

"Maybe you're the problem?" She teased him.

Michael just made a poker face which made her laugh.

"Just kidding. But seriously. You'll keep on guessing and wondering what's going on with her or if you did something wrong. Do you want your relationship to be like that?"

"No. That'll be exhausting."

"Then talk to her."

He sighed.

"You can always ask for help from me or your other friends but what we can do is only to listen or give you advice. But the problem should be fixed by the two of you."

"You're right. I'm just stressed about not knowing what I did wrong. Thank you, Feli."

"No problem, Michael. Now, go to your girlfriend."

"Sorry if I took your time. What were you about to do earlier?" He asked her.

"I'm going to show some of my students poems to the Poetry coach. I think my students have a chance at the contest."

"Do you know who the new coach is?"

"I didn't even know there was a new coach."

Michael smiled widely. "You're in luck because you're speaking to him."

With that, they went to the Poetry club to review the outputs. They then made some plans on how to choose the representative. Feli didn't realize that the dismissal bell rang a long time ago.
