Office hours had long been done three hours prior but some of Kaito's employees stayed behind to work extra hours. Just like them, he was still in his company's building, not only to work but to also attend his ESL class.

This time, he wouldn't take the class inside his car but inside his office. It was huge and spacious, with only his desks and shelves around. There was also a small cubicle connected to it because it served as Yachiko-san's work space.

Yachiko-san, his nosy yet responsible secretary, left as soon as the office hours ended because of a personal agenda. It meant that Kaito had the office all to himself, no one would come knocking to ask for his signatures or whatever.

He was seated in front of his oak desk. His laptop and earphones were ready. He even double checked if the laptop audio setting was working and thankfully, it was. He glanced at his iPhone and contemplated on replacing it with the latest model because of the malfunction the last time he took his class.

"Yeah. Maybe I'll just give this phone to Yachiko-san. Or the employee of the month," he mumbled to himself.

He logged in and went to their virtual classroom. The classroom would officially open once the clock strikes 8:30 PM in Japan which means that it would be 7:30 PM in the Philippines. He waited for a few more seconds then there was a ping sound from the virtual classroom, indicating that the classroom was opened and the teacher had finally logged in.

He was a little nervous and he knew that he could not concentrate if he was anxious. Kaito breathed deeply but he still couldn't turn his camera on.

"Hello! Good evening, Kai," Feli greeted. This was her student who had problems with his mic only a few days ago.

Technically, she did not remember what happened during class but she typed some key words in the notebook feature of the classroom. Under Kai's notebook feature, she wrote down:

-No camera

-No audio, chatbox only

-25 y/o

-Tokyo, likes to spend time w/ fam

-businessman

Each student has their own notebook feature that tutors use to write down something about their students. It could help them recall the student and what happened during class. This feature was private and only the tutor can view it, much like a reminder or a sticky note.

Feli had six students per night, multiplying that to five days a week, then four times a month, then twelve times a year which would give her... a headache.

That's why she didn't major in math.

But seriously, she wouldn't be able to recall everyone, especially if they were not regular students. And she still had to memorize the names and faces of her high school students, so it really sucks to have a non-photographic memory sometimes.

"Hello, Teacher."

She was stunned for a bit. Clearly, the student's microphone was fixed. He had a deep voice, one that was not meant for soothing and calming like those in afternoon radio program voices. His had a little authoritative edge to it. With only two words, it made Feli wish that she could put a face to such a tone.

"I see that your mic is fixed. That's great."

Her student chuckled and again she was caught off guard. It was like she heard this sound before. She usually experienced confusion whenever she had a new student. Their voices blended in her head that she would think they almost sound the same.

"Yes, teacher. I made sure that my device is okay now. How have you been?" He asked her.

"I've been busy with my job."
