Chapter Thirty-Five: What comes next

After a few days, (Y/N) was ready to move to Uzacan with Tom. Cedric didn't want her to go but he had to let her go. As long as she knows he loves her and he got that off his chest. Tom was getting the last of (Y/N)'s things in the hot air balloon they arrived in the first time while (Y/N) spent the last few minutes with her family.

"Do you have to go?" Sofia asked.

"I do, Sofia. I have to be with my husband and help him rule his kingdom. But I'll visit when I can, I promise," (Y/N) said smiling.

"You're welcome home whenever you want," Roland said.

"But I want you to stay. This place won't be the same without you. And what about Mr. Cedric? He'll miss you more than anything," Sofia said

"I know he will. But Cedric always has you. You're his apprentice too, remember?" (Y/N) said.

Sofia nodded.

"How long do we have until she leaves?" Amber asked Baileywick

"Six minutes," Baileywick said.

"Then let's make it the best six minutes ever," (Y/N) said staying positive, 'Just six more minutes left. We've done all we could do and whatever happens next I'm glad I'm here with you. Mister Sun came up and he smiled at me. Said, "It's gonna be the best day, just wait and see." Royal Wedding caught us unaware but we're still here and Mister Sun's up there. Could be the best day ever.'

'Best day ever,' Sofia said

'It still could be the best day ever!'

'Best day ever,' Amber, Sofia, and James said

'I'm so lucky, got nothing to do. I could spend five minutes just bein' with you. Every flower, every grain of sand is reaching out to shake my hand...'

'It's the best day ever,' everyone said

Everyone repeated that as (Y/N) danced around. Cedric wasn't joining in because he knew this wasn't the best day ever. This was the worst day ever but he didn't say anything

'These past two days the world's been closing in on me but when I'm feeling down, I can lose that frown. Just stick my head out the window and look around. Asgard doesn't scare me, it can't disguise this magic that's happening right before my eyes. Whatever comes there's just one thing to do; Make the best day ever with all of you. Today's the best day ever with all of you now,' (Y/N) danced and pointed to Cedric

Cedric was reluctant but sang to make (Y/N) happy, 'It's the best day ever!'

They started repeating that again and all danced around. At the end of it, they formed a circle and held hands. Tom came in and told (Y/N) it was time to go

"This is it, everyone," (Y/N) said

(Y/N) shared hugs with everyone before getting in the hot air balloon to go to Asgard.

'It's the best day ever.'

'Best day ever.'

'It's the best day ever.'

'Best day ever.'

"Five. Four. Three. Two..."

And (Y/N) disappeared into the clouds. Cedric left to his tower, sad that (Y/N) was gone. It was just like his vision on the day he tried to take over the kingdom. (Y/N) had gone with a different man. And he said to himself that he wouldn't let this happen. But it happened anyway. (Y/N) and Tom were made King and Queen of Uzacan a week after the wedding and they were great rulers but (Y/N) had to learn the rules all over again.

No magic, the Queen doesn't help the King with his work, the Queen has no opinion on anything and overall, the Queen hardly does anything. She didn't remember Miranda going through any of this. Or does Uzacan just work differently? She didn't ask. But she noticed that Tom wasn't as affectionate as he was before they married.

(Y/N) did ask about that and Tom just said that he's been busy lately and is too stressed to give her affection at the moment. (Y/N) just left him alone. But things would become rather interesting. About six weeks after the wedding, (Y/N) would start to feel sick every morning. She would have to run out of bed every morning just to throw up. When it lasted longer than a sick bug usually does, Tom called a doctor to the castle to check on her.

The doctor would reveal that (Y/N) was pregnant. And she knew exactly who the child belonged to. Cedric. It was no coincidence that she was pregnant six months after she spent a night with Cedric. However, Tom thought the child was his because they too spent a night together once they arrived in Uzacan. But it was too obvious to (Y/N) that it was Cedric's so she didn't say anything. She wrote a letter to Cedric telling him the news. 

When he read the letter, he knew what was going on. They didn't think of the consequences that night would cause. Yes, he was happy, excited even, to learn that he would be a father but there was a hint of regret inside. With all that's happened, he may never meet his own child, and, even worse, if word got out about what the two did, the child would most likely get the worst of it. (Y/N) addressed in her letter to Cedric that they couldn't tell anyone that the child wasn't Tom's just in case something bad happened to the three of them. 

She didn't know what, it was just a feeling. But Cedric agreed. This incident wouldn't do them any good if people took it the wrong way. Well, it already doesn't look good for either of them. Either way, the only people they told were Madisyn and Greylock who agreed to keep their secret. By this time, Greylock had proposed and married Madisyn. Madisyn had agreed to it because she loved Greylock. But their marriage and news of Cedric and (Y/N)'s child made them feel bad that they were getting it good while the other was having a hard time. 

During the pregnancy, (Y/N) would send letters to Cedric about what was happening so he could still be part of it in a way. He deserved to know. After nine months, a healthy baby boy was born. (Y/N) named him Stephen. Tom wasn't even there for the birth nor did he care about the child when he met him. (Y/N) didn't care that Tom wanted nothing to do with the boy since Tom wasn't the father. She told Cedric about Stephen and honestly wished that he was there to meet his child. But, of course, he couldn't. At least not until a few months later.
