"Where do you want to go first?" Tobias asks me with his arm around my waist.

"I think we need to get some new clothes, we are Dauntless now," I reply.

"Okay, that's a good point," he says, smiling.

We make our way over to the clothing store. When we walk inside, almost everything is black, other than some different dark colours used such as indigo, and gold and silver jewellery.

As soon as I step further inside, I see a stunning black dress which ends just above the knee, and it's strapless.

"I see something," I say to Tobias, dragging him over to the dress.

"Nice. Are you going to try it on first?" Tobias asks me.

"Yes, but you have to be honest if it looks bad, deal?"

"Deal."

I pick one up that looks about my size and walk to the fitting rooms.

After changing into the black dress, I walk outside of the fitting room and see Tobias waiting there patiently.

"What do you think?" I ask Tobias.

It feels really smooth and silky, similar to my old Candor dress that I used to love.

His eyes widen. "You're... beautiful," Tobias says, and it sounds genuine.

He comes towards me and wraps his arms around me. We kiss passionately for a minute or two.

I pull away from him and smile.

"I'll take that as a 'yes' then," I say, and go to change back into my other clothes.

I've spent at least two hours in the Pit with Tobias, and it's been amusing. I've gotten tons of clothes, shoes, and some jewellery. I even got my ears pierced and bought a few different pairs of earrings.

The only place we haven't been to is the tattoo parlour.

"Are you going to get a tattoo?"

"Yes, definitely," Tobias answers. "What about you?"

"Maybe, only if one stands out to me."

When we get to the tattoo parlour, pictures of tattoos are everywhere, and there are lots of choices.

But the one that stands out to me the most is the oak tree.

"I want this one," I say instantly to Tobias.

"I could definitely picture that on you, but where are you going to get it?"

"Hmm... the top of my back?"

"Yeah, that's a good place. How about I look for one myself while you get yours done?" he asks.

"Sure, you don't want my opinion?"

"Nah, I don't go by the opinions of others," he answers.

"That's a good attitude to have, Tobias," I say, smiling.

I look for a tattoo station that isn't being used, and spot one over in the corner.

When I go over, I can't see the face of the woman who is standing there as she's facing back to me, so I try to get her attention.

"Excuse me?"

The woman turns around, but it's not just any Dauntless woman, it's Tori — the woman who administered my aptitude test.
