China likes to watch Alaska watch A.N.T Farm on TV every morning, and enjoys every mistake they ever make, which I like to watch myself. China getting a dirty look from Alaska every time she calls something on one of the characters, not A.N.T Farm. I'm a little off topic, but I'll get to the point eventually. Helix can sing. And I really mean sing. He has no idea how thin these walls are. I thought I might tell him one morning, but he kissed me on the forehead and put a cup of steaming coffee with my favorite syrup in it into my hands, and I melted. He caught me and Venus in the middle of an argument over who got who and all that jazz. We had no idea he was there. I had been yelling... "I don't care, this is my home!""Well now you live in Oakland, California, and you have a boyfriend!""Well, what if I like Helix more? He is the sweetest, most adorable, cute, funny guy I have ever met, and he can sing too! He even lives here in China! What if I don't wanna go back to the states? What if I wanna stay here and live the rest of my life with Helix? What then, huh? What would you say?" Helix made a small noise and we both whipped around to see him leaning against the doorframe, crossing his arms over the new shirt my mom bought for him, his hair hanging over one eye. He was smiling."I knew Carter was right when she said that you liked me, Asia, but I wanted proof from you. I guess I have it for real now," he said, pushing off the wall with his shoulder. I blushed. Venus started to giggle. I looked at her, but she kept laughing. Helix looked at her and she stopped immediately. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Helix's hand."I challenge you to an arm wrestling duel," I said. "Sure. I could take a few lessons on how to pin you," he said without sarcasm. I opened my mouth, shut it, and then sat down on my bed."Sure. I'll teach you right now, come on over," it was Helix who blushed this time, and turned and walked out the door. Venus left after him. I grinned and shut the door behind him, and checked my phone for messages. Zach had sent a few asking how China was, Will sent some with questions about myself, if I had gotten to see my family yet, and a dozen from Silas, saying unknown to you. I suddenly felt bad about saying I loved Helix more than I loved him. I mean, I haven't even thought about if that's true or not."Hey Asia, I made you breakfast, it's on the table," Helix said, (Yeah, it's true) then left, then came back in and sat down on my bed. I glanced up and knew he was looking at my phone. He leaned over and tapped a picture of me and Si together. "He looks nice. You should stay with him," "Who do you have here though?" "I have Carter, and at the moment I have a pretty girl who knows her tae kwon do.""You flatter me. I like you too. As a friend, uh, I guess?" I added quickly, and he chuckled."Yeah, well, who do you have?" he asked."I've got plenty of people. I have Hanna, Kinsey, Mr. Hopefully Waiting William Mathias, Zach, Veronica, all my siblings, ugh, Alaina, I guess, um, Madison, Rosalyn, Gillian, Mckenna, should I go on?" I decided not to. Helix rolled his eyes."I have more people than who I mentioned. Like, um, like, ah, like... well, I have Brei Ida, I have Callista, or Callie, I have Selina, well, I think I have Selina..." "Helix," I cut him off, "I don't really care who you have and who you don't. Now let's get going, I want to meet my family today," and I hopped off my bed and started to walk out. Helix snickered suddenly. I looked back at him."What?" I asked innocently."Are you wearing that to go meet them?" he asked, pointing to me, chuckling. I looked down and blushed: I was wearing my pj's still. I guess baggy black and white pattern pants and a bright blue tank top wouldn't be too bad, but I think my mom (both of them) would not approve. So I shooed Helix out of my room and changed into block pattern, blue and hot pink leggings and a cream blouse with lace flowers on the top and back. I decided sneakers wasn't a good idea, so I "borrowed" a pair of Venus' heels-white, toeless, and 2 ½ inches. This would be such a fun day.
