the results for my december 2021 exams got out last week. i've done pretty well (thanks to my crazy journal too lol), but not as well as i hoped to. i was initially counting on a revaluation of the scores, but i've missed the deadline to apply for it.

thankfully, the weightage for those is something like 10%. i just wanted a good score for the sake of it. so i'm hoping to do better in the upcoming few exams. i just hope i can patch up my wounded ego and get over this.

the worst part about this ordeal is no one, not even my teachers or friends, bothered to inform me of the deadline. so maybe this is a lesson to learn.

in short (as if this wasn't short enough):

1. you might have to fend for yourself sometimes. don't be too mad or sad about it.

2. be sure to have some kind of support system, no matter what.

3. never feel bad about exam results. although those numbers 'don't mean anything', they indicate something. so even from those results, learn.

if they were good, whatever you're doing is working for you.
if they were bad, then you still have space to learn what you missed. and think.

4. be open with certain plans. it's alright to seek help.
