chapter 15 the tower

sage makes her way up the many steps to reach the top of the tower when she gets up there she sees Lucius sitting there with all the things they need for their potion he sees her and gives her an awkward but friendly smile. Lucius noticed that she was upset so he asked her "sage is everything alright" hearing those words made her start to cry out of pain and anger. Lucius just sat there and hugged her

that night they talked and talked until they saw the sun start to rise and they hadn't even started their project for potions they had another week to finish it so they would be fine

they both headed back to their rooms and rested for a few hours

it was around half-past two and Lilly was furious and banging on sages door, once she opened it she burst into the room she had her wand to sages neck "you fucking bitch I'm gonna kill you for what you did to James" sage stayed quiet when she eventually spoke she said, "I was standing up for Severus because you know just as well as I do he wouldn't do it himself.." Lilly scoffed "James wouldn't have done anything he's kind and smart" sage laughed and goes over to a small cabinet and takes out the vial with yesterday's date written on it

she hands it to Lilly and says "why don't you see what I had to take out of his head after what he did hm?" Lilly takes the vial and walks out of the room

(lillys pov)

Sage had just handed her a vial saying that she had to take it out of Severus's head. deep down she knew what names did but she didn't want to see it, she didn't want to believe it.

when she got back to her dorm she decided to open the vial, when it entered her head this is what she saw

Severus was sitting reading his book under a tree when James approached him, Severus gets up and tries to walk away but James and the other boys stop him what she saw next made her question everything she thought about James. she saw him hold Severus in the air and remove his trousers she saw him laugh at him, she then saw sage stick up for her brother and her heart sank, Lilly evens the kindest girl in school was dating a bully she also saw how upset Severus was after the whole ordeal, she saw how sage had to comfort him and her heart broke. she saw how much James had hurt her friend's feelings, she knew she had to make this right so she went straight to jameses dorm.

(james pov)

he was sitting in the comment room when lilly stormed in looking furious, remus and serious gave james a look being translated to your fucked. remuse and seriuse excused themselves so there where out of sight and not out of earshot. james looks over at lilly "is everything ok babe?" he asks her casually trying to ignore how angry she looked. lilly looked at him with tears in his eyes. as he noticed the tears he went over to hug her but she pushed him away "don't touch me" she says. james looks taken aback by her words and does as she asked and stepped away. "lilly whats going on has something happened?" lilly looks up at him "tell me why sage beat you up, tell me exactly what happened". james hesetates for a moment but then he chooses to lie knowing lilly wouldn't approve of what really happened. "babe I don't know she just attacked me for like no reason" he says sounding quite convincing. "your I liar" says lilly while looking down as tears fill her eyes. "I saw what happened james I SAW WHAT YOU DID TO HIM!" shes screaming out of anger now "YOUR A SWINE JAMES POTTER A SWINE AND A BULLY" james looks as if he's about to cry "lilly please..." james pleaded but lilly stopped him "save it james i don't wanna hear it were done..." and with that she left

james couldn't beleive it lilly had left him....
