chapter 25 Rose Malfoy

how do you describe rose Malfoy. those who knew her saw her as a bright and kindred spirit. she was known for her beauty both inside and out, she had lovely red hair and a smile that could brighten the darkest of days. her kindness would be shown to anyone no matter their past or blood status. tho she was a pureblood she wasn't forced to marry abraxas she chose to do so because she fell in love with him. 

rose was also known for being quite wild and free. she would hike on mountains just to feel the cold breeze when she reached the top 

after she married she had a seemingly happy life 

she and abraxas were blessed with a baby (Lucius). but sadly after their baby was born she fell very sick.

she knew she was running out of time so she confided in a small house elf asking the creature to tell her everything that happens after she was gone 

she asked for the house-elf to watch over her son as much as it could, she also said if you're ever leaving your position here pass this on to the next elf

rose was smart she knew what she was doing

then in march of 1956 when Lucius was three years old she was gone 

she slipped away peacefully sitting on a bench looking over the lake she loved so dearly on the grounds 

and just like that, she had gone. tho everyone knew of her death nobody truly felt that she was gone. and nobody ever knew why, that was until sage saw her, sage raised that her spirit hadn't left the place she loved and was still there 

this made sage wonder was there a way to bring her back or a way that she could make Lucius see her too?

all of these thoughts raced through her mind like horses on a racetrack

sage was conflicted did she tell Lucius what she saw and try to figure out a way for him to see her with his help. or did she figure it out herself and only tell him if she found a way? 

sage had never been this uncertain before and she didn't know what to do. usually, she would talk to Severus in this situation but she knew that if she told him there would be a large chance he would let it slip to Lucius

she knew there was only one other person she could trust and who knew wouldn't tell him.

sage made her way to Lucius and told him she was going to visit her grandmother in the morning 

tho lucius didn't want her to leave she told him she would be back so he gave in with a pout on his face 

they decided to go for a little walk around the house and Lucius brought them to the library, Lucius knew how much she loved books so he thought bringing her in here would be perfect

if I told you sage lost her shit when she saw the books that would be an understatement, sage was so happy to the point she fainted and Lucius had to carry her to a one of a kind leather sofa 

he sat down with her and put a cozy fur blanket over them. by now sage was awake staring up at Lucius' wonderful face as he read a book called pride and predjedus  this was a book she had read almost a thousand times but it was a book she was willing to read a thousand more if she had Lucius by her side 

at this moment everything felt perfect 

she felt as if she could live in this moment forever and she would do it willingly 

she felt safe in his arms and she felt as if she never wanted to leave 

it was then she realized she had not just fallen for him 

she had actually fallen in love with Lucius Malfoy 

before sage knew it Lucius was carrying her back to bed as she had fallen asleep on his chest 

he did indeed think it was cute how peaceful she was around him and in turn he loved being around her, she made him feel wanted, and felt a duty to protect her
