chapter 19 a new friendship

it was early morning and sage was washing her face and getting ready for the day. as she got back to her dorm she put on her uniform, as she was doing her hair may came in with two coffees in hand "morning sage brought u a coffee" "thanks may just doing my hair!" as sage is doing her hair and chatting away to may in comes Lucius who she was officially dating and may knew this and was very happy for them both. may saw Lucius and Lucius knew exactly what she was about to do "SAGE YOUR BOYFRIENDS HERE!" sage pottered out chuckling at mays antics, sage looked over at Lucius who was bright red then she looked back at may and said "oh may do stop it your embarrassing him" she laughs but trys to sound firm. may look at the two "ill leave you two be " so she heads off and makes her way to the great hall for some breakfast 

sage was in the middle of doing her hair when Lucius hugged her from behind she laughed as he lifted her and hugged her then kissed her pasinotly 

as he put her down he noticed she was still in a bit of pain but she was adamant that she would continue as normal like it hadn't happened. tho Lucius wanted her to rest he knew there was no use trying to change her mind. she was a fighter she always had been he loved that about her

sage was grabbing the books she needed as she had charms next and Lucius had divination so he walked her as far as he could then turned to the astronomy tower, sage watched him walk up the many many MANY stairs, his gorgeous blond hair flowed in the breeze.

when she made it to her charms class she sat down quietly and then she noticed James potter glancing back at her, she ignored him as she didn't want to deal with him. she heard rumors of Lilly breaking up with him, all she thought of that was "ha serves him right he was a prick Lilly deserves better".

charms flew by quite quickly so she grabbed what she needed for potions. this was her favorite class as she was partnered with Lucius. as she was grabbing her things Lilly came over and said hello " hey sage what's up" Lilly had a smile on her face the two had become quite close." nothing mutch Lilly same old same old" sage said with a chuckle. "I don't quite believe that sage I hear rumors of you and Malfoy, are they true?". without saying a word sage gave her a look that could only be read as yup I bagged a good man and I'm really happy about it. the two giggled away and then it sage that they were both late for potions. sage was glad that Lilly was partnered with Severus as they had grown apart when Lilly started dating James, now since her breakup they began to get closer again. 

the girls ran along the corridors trying to make it to their class on time but they would be late regardless. they were almost there when sage felt a sharp pain in her side causing her to stop, Lilly ran back to her concerned but sage just simply said: "I'm fine I'm fine common we're gonna be late". as they made it to the potions room they slipped in without being detected, as soon as sage sat down Lucius intertwined his hand into hers. 

in the class, they had to brew a draught of living death and this was going to be worth 25% of their final grade, so Lucius and sage took it upon themselves to be the best in the class. they were chatting away as they brewed their potion, joking with Severus and Lilly about how they would do better. the four were laughing away happily. as they knuckled down to do their work sage noticed the same pain she had felt before but tried to brush it off, Lucius however did not brush it off "darling are you alright?" sage blushed "did you just call me darling?"

"yes, yes I did now don't change the subject what's the matter?" Lucius is sounding worried, sage loved how much he cared for her, "honestly Lucius ill be fine"

before they knew it the class had ended and they had tied for first with Severus and Lilly, the four congratulated each other and went on their way sage was gonna go watch the Slytherin team train as they were playing next in the championship. how the championship worked was the house teams would play each other and the winner of those games would play the beauxbatons. due to sages accident, the first match was not part of the championship

Lucius was the team captain and she loved watching him train. when he trained he flexed all of his muscles and when I say all of them I mean "all" of them
