it has been about two weeks since sage's accident and Lucius stayed by her side the whole time. while she healed the two talked and talked. Lucius explained the situation with Narcissa and sage explained her past with her mother. over this short period, the two grew so much closer than they had been before.
it was about six in the evening and a nurse came in with I smile on her face. "I come bearing news!", the two look at her in anticipation. the nurse continues "you can go home tomorrow" this news made sage so happy she was gonna see all her friends again.
sage decided to rest with Lucius's hand intertwined with hers as it always was, he was already quite tired so she thought it best if they rested before heading back to school in the morning
tho the nurse recommended going back to her home she decided to go straight back to Hogwarts she didn't wanna be around her mother not yet anyway.
the morning soon approached and a nurse helped sage out of bed into a wheelchair. "what's with the chair I can walk" said sage with a chuckle "just a precaution sage" the nurse said to her. as soon as they reached the car she left the chair behind. while they were on their way to Hogwarts Lucius noticed that sage's leg was bouncing with her anxiousness so he put his hand on her knee which made her blush. as they got closer Lucius looked at sage and cupped her face with his hand
"sage I can't bear the thought of me losing you so I must ask you...will you be my girlfriend" Lucius spoke these words sounding nervous like never before
"but Lucius what about Narcissa. and your father...." sage spoke in a sad tone
"fuck Narcissa and my father ill tell him I don't give a fuck" as he says this he and sage have another magical kiss.
as they pull away from each other they smile and sage says quietly
"yes"
this made Lucius's face light up with a smile, before they knew it they had arrived at Hogwarts and it was early morning so everyone would be eating breakfast around now.
as the two made their way to the great hall they heard the headmaster talking about the accident
he said
as you all know there was an accident a few weeks ago and since then sage snape has been in recovery, it has come to my attention that this was no accident that someone hexed miss snaped broom, if anyone has any information come forward now as this is a very serious matter, last I heard of miss snape and Mr. Malfoy she was doing quite well and will be back in school soon
sage and Lucius gave each other a look as if to say let's go in now so that's what they did
they pushed open the doors to the great hall and walked in hand in hand making everyone gasp and cheer, and of course, Narcissa was sitting at her table looking pissed at the fact Lucius was holding her hand
Severus of course rushed up to hug his sister
the three end up going back to sages dorm, they entered the room and Lucius sat next to sage as she had her hand intertwined in his as always, Severus gave them a look as If to say the fuck did I miss
"you to look pretty cozy," sev says in a suspicious tone
sage and Lucius laugh, sage speaks up "yes Severus we are dating". Severus looks shocked but happy and laughed "I fucking called it I was right". Lucius and sage looked confused," the amortentia you dumasses you both told me what you guys smelt from the potion". sage looked at Lucius and smiled
about ten minutes later there was a knock on sages door, it was Lilly, Severus excused himself and tried to take Lucius with him but he stayed until sage spoke up "Lucius darling I think ill be alright go with Severus" her calling him darling made him blush but he did his best to hide it and left with Severus. you could hear Severus joking around about him blushing outside the door.
Lilly looked at sage looking ashamed "I came to apologize" sage cut her off
"it's not me you should be apologizing to, you need to talk to Severus, not me"
Lilly continues "I do need to apologize to you I threatened you and that's not right. I was also wondering if we could maybe be friends.." sage laughed if you make it right with Severus of course we can be friends
