this is a love story between sage and lucius this is going to be mainly romance this story wont have smut in detail there will be a little bit but not to much as i wanna focus on the romantic as...
it was early and sage had just awoken in her bed and indeed did not remember walking back she was confused for a moment then she remembered Lucius had carried her back to bed.
the simple thought of that gave her butterflies
she glanced at the clock which read six-thirty (am) she made her way to the closet where her clothes were being stored and picked an outfit that was smart as well as comfortable
she ended up wearing the light blue dress her grandmother had bought her she also tied a blue ribbon in her hair that went with the dress
she had to be on her best behavior around her grandmother, tho the woman was kind she still valued girls who were ladylike and proper

when she glanced at the clock again it read eight-thirty so she quickly grabbed her wand and made her way to say goodbye to Lucius before she left
she quietly opened his door and saw him fast asleep, the look of him being so peaceful warmed her heart so she wrote him a little note and left it on his bedside table
the note read
good morning darling I left quite early and didn't want to wake you but still wanted to say goodbye I hope you have a wonderful day and I don't think ill be back too late, be safe while I'm gone and if you need me to send me an owl and ill be straight back
I love you
she left the note next to him as he slept, she also planted a small kiss on his forehead leaving a small stain on her lipstick. she had a little quiet laugh about it and decided to leave it there to remind him of her when he awoke
soon enough she was making her way to the front of the manor to disparate to her grandmother's manor back in France
with a simple pop, she was gone
it took her a moment to steady herself after the desperation and she made her way up to the door
she reached the door and made sure she was standing up straight and knocked politely, a small elf opened the door and led sage to the drawing-room where her grandmother stood looking out the window

sage entered the room and her grandmother turned to face her with a smile
the two sat and enjoyed some tea as they caught up
sage told her grandmother about Lucius and how much she cared for him
she also told her about the ongoing fights between her and her mother. her grandmother indeed felt sorry for the poor girl
after hours and hours of talking the same elf that had greeted sage at the door announced that dinner was ready
so the two ladies sat and ate
"grandmother might I bother you with a question," sage said politely. her grandmother glanced at her "of course my dear what is it you want to ask me?".
"could you tell me about our family history?" her grandmother looked confused, "my dear why on earth would you want to know about that" her grandmother seemed to grow quite nervous. sage decided to ignore that and said "I spoke to a ghost and can do magic without a wand..."
her grandmother was stunned and dropped the spoon she was holding into her soup
she takes a moment then clears her through "it was probably just a dream my dear best to put it out of your mind"
sage glanced at the large grandfather clock in the corner of the room
"I'm terribly sorry grandmother but I must be going it's getting quite late"
sage stood up and said her goodbyes to her grandmother by hugging her and going on her way
when she arrived back at Malfoy manor something felt off
so she went to find Lucius, when she found him he was sitting in his room
"Lucius I'm back," sage said with a smile but he kept his back turned
as she got closer she saw he was upset
"Lucius are you alright" he looked at her with a look of sadness
"I was meant to say it first" sage was confused. Lucius then broke character and started laughing
sage was so confused
turns out he was kidding about how she had said I love you first in the note she had left for him
sage laughed with relief
"if you still want to say it first you can" Lucius looked at sage
"what do you mean sage?" sage laughed "I mean I wrote it you can still say it first if you wish"
and with that, he kissed her and said "I love you sage Eloise snape" sage looked at Lucius "I love you too Lucius Abraxas Malfoy"
