Dallas woke up from a particularly good night's sleep, and the sun was shining through his window. He was about to move out of his sleeping bag, but then he realized Logan was close. Very close. Logan was cuddled up against his backside.
"Oh my god, what do I do?" Dallas thought, trying to think of a way out without waking up Logan. "Actually, I wish I could stay here, but sooner or later he's going to wake up and see us like this. That would be awkward for both of us. Maybe it's better if I just stay here," Dallas thought. Suddenly, Logan shifted, putting his free arm directly on Dallas's side and shoulder.
"Oh shit, I'm so fucked now. There's no way I can move without waking him up," Dallas thought. "I guess I'll just enjoy the moment" he thought, not knowing what else to do. Dallas closed his eyes, and took deep breaths. Being able to feel Logan's entire front side got his blood moving. However, it was moving right down towards Dallas's own front side, triggering an involuntary reaction.
"Oh no no no no, not now," Dallas thought frantically, unable to do anything.
"I'm in my pajamas for christ sake, I can't hide anything. At least I'm not in a position where Logan might feel it," he thought. His thoughts were interrupted by Logan shifting again.
"He's definitely about to wake up," Dallas thought, trying to think of a way out. "What will happen if he sees us like this?" he thought.
Then he remembered his slip-up earlier last night. Logan had almost said 'your' instead of 'their' when describing their crushes.
"Would he really be mad if he woke up like this?" Dallas pondered.
"Only at himself. He would beat himself up to no end," he thought. Sadly, he needed to get out of this situation, even if both of them secretly enjoyed it.
"Ok, how do I do this?" Dallas thought, trying to figure out how to get Logan off of him without waking him up. "What if I gently lift his hand off and roll away?" Dallas brainstormed.
"Or I could just roll away, and if he wakes up I can pretend to sleep," he thought. "It doesn't matter, I just need to do something."
Dallas gently lifted Logan's arm, and slowly rolled over, separating them. Dallas waited a moment to see if Logan would move, and when he didn't, he reached for his phone. He unplugged it from the charger and turned it on. The time was 7:39.
"Wow, that's earlier than expected, hopefully I don't fall asleep tonight while trying to help Logan with his presentation," Dallas thought. Just then, he heard Logan stirring, and he left his unconscious sleep state.
"It's a good thing I moved when I did," Dallas thought, not wanting to think of what would've gone through Logan's mind if he hadn't.
"Oh, hi Dallas," Logan said, rubbing his eyes.
"Good morning Logan," Dallas replied.
"What time is it?" Logan asked.
"7:39, it's still decently early," Dallas said. Logan turned away from the sunlight shining through the window.
"Yeah, I was expecting to sleep later, especially since we stayed up until 1:30 last night," Logan replied.
"Yeah, staying up will be difficult," Dallas said.
"I hadn't thought of that. Hopefully we won't have to stay up all night since I'll have some help, that is if you still want to do it, I won't force you," Logan said.
