Chapter 16: Wedding

Your P.O.V.

"I'm Y/n-"

"I know who you are, Y/n Y/l/n. I also know what you can do, Y/h/n." 

I squinted my eyes at the monster, "I know your name too, Savitar." He chuckled at me and spoke again, "Oh, but you don't know the real me." All of a sudden, his armor dispersed a whole different Barry, "B-Barry?" 

Half his face was burnt, while the other half just seemed angry. He mischievously smiled before walking towards me. "I came for you."

I laughed sarcastically and replied, "No, you didn't." 

"How can I prove it?" 

"Tell me what happened?" 

His head laid low as he told me a story. 

"Barry created me. He was willing to kill me so he could save Iris. I may think, breathe, act, and look like him, but I don't love like he does. I was the side of him that chose you over everything, without me he doesn't feel for you the way he used to. That's why he hasn't fought for you. I will. I will fight for you until the end of time." He smiled kindly at me as he inched closer to my smaller figure. 

I didn't know if I should believe him, but my heart was saying 'Go for it!' I went for it. I lunged my body towards him as I connected our lips together in a passionate kiss. I held onto his neck while his warm hands slid to my waist. He wasn't lying. 

"I've been wanting to do that for a while now." He spoke silently before kissing my temple. I couldn't help but smile at the cute gesture as I left my hands on his neck. "B-But I have a question.." Bar- Savitar hummed in response, giving his undivided attention, "Why is it that I die and you are quote-un-quote 'defeated'?" He smiled and replied, "I don't know. That's in the future. Right now, I just want to enjoy finally being with you." All his romantic words made my heart beat rise and cheeks pink. This Barry was different. A better difference. 

I let go of his neck and walked out of the room. "Don't you find it funny how I don't know you and we've already kissed?" I said winking before shutting the door on him. He quickly opened it and replied, "Well, then. Let's get to know each other." He held out his hand and spoke again, "Hi, I'm Savitar. And you are-" I shook his hand, giggling, "Y/n, I'm Y/n." 

He softly kissed my hand and said, "Pleasure to meet you, Y/n. I feel we'll have lots of fun together." He winked and walked to the kitchen leaving me flustered. All night we spent talking to each other about our life. Honestly, it felt nice getting to know him again, considering we've not hung out in a long while. 

He slept on the couch while I slept on my bed. All night I was thinking about him. I'll be happy with him. I know it.

A few days passed as we got to know each other on a deeper level. We've become friends even though he's been tormenting Barry. I've tried stopping him, but nothing has worked. 

I was laying on my couch after a hard day at work when I heard someone knock on my door. "Comin'!" I yelled slowly getting off my comfortable couch. I opened the door to find no one, but a bouquet of roses, "huh?" I said out loud as I picked them up. 

"I hope you like them.." 

I turned around to find Savitar sitting on my couch. 

"Haha, what are you doing here?" I asked as I put the roses in a vase of water. 

"Visiting my favorite person. How are you?" He said with a cute smile. 

"I'm tired, but okay. How are you?" I replied and sat next to him. Once I focused my attention back on him, I realized he wasn't smiling anymore. 

"Hey, what's wrong?" I held his shoulder, but instead he leaned his body towards mine. We were in a cuddle when he finally spoke, "They're almost getting married. I'm trying to stop it. I know everything he knows. I think everything he thinks. Somehow, we're both thinking of you, but he's still going through with the marriage. I-I don't know. I'm just… I'm just frustrated." He buried his head closer into my neck and I just laid there thinking. 

"I understand." I said quietly, confusing Savitar. 

"What?" He questioned, lifting his head from me. 

"Your plan was to kill Iris and be defeated so Barry would end up with me. But he doesn't love me anymore and their team always finds another way. So Iris will live, but I will die in the process…" I paused for a second to think, "What if we find a way to be together? You and I?" 

Savitar's eyes quickly widened, "How would that work?" 

"I figure they're going to take you to a prison you can't escape." When Savitar understood where I was going he replied, "Speed force!" I nodded my head, "I have the speed force in me as well, so you can take me with you, but we have to make it look like I died." 

For the rest of the day, Savitar and I created a plan. I will marry Jacob and invite Barry and Iris. On the day Savitar tries to fight Barry, he will race him towards me and 'kill' me. Barry would've had enough and will open the speed force. By that time, Savitar will take me with him and we'll live there. The only downfall is marrying Jacob. I had to marry him because without him, Barry would've been happy for me. Savitar and I are trying to make him angry.

I had dated Jacob for three months before he proposed. I had gotten all the invitations out and found a dress that I thought would suit well. Savitar and I talked more than ever, but it was hard. We both had our part to do in the plan, so we were completely focused. 

The wedding day was only a few days away and I was nervous.

I sat on the chair, looking at the mirror as Felicity did my hair. This was it. 

"Honey, you look amazing!" My mom said, with tears daring to slide from her eyes. 

"Thanks, mom." I replied, staying still. 

I got dressed and walked over to my stepdad, Andrew. "Hey, dad." 

He gave me a kind hug and said, "I'm very happy for you." 

We locked arms and walked down the aisle to Jacob. I saw everyone there including Barry. Finally stopping at the altar, Jacob held my hand and lightly took me from Andrew. The service was natural and nice. I kept stealing glances from Jacob and it made me smile. Although this was part of the plan, I couldn't help but feel like this was actually my wedding. 

The service ended with a 'happily' married couple.

I walked away from the crowd and saw Savitar in his armor. He was only there for a split second, making it hard for me to say anything. I focused myself back into the crowd and saw Iris walking towards me, "Woow! I'm so happy for you!" She said, hugging me tightly. "Thank you! and thank you for coming!" I smiled and saw Barry walking to me. I quickly found someone else to hug before he could say anything. I was completely ignoring him, hoping he wouldn't see right through me.

Jacob and I sat on our seats as the speeches poured in. Jacob's best man talked about how happy we looked and Felicity made jokes about when we were single. All in all, that was a pretty nice wedding. 

This plan was going well…. So far..
