Chapter 20: Atleast

Your P.O.V. 

I miss him so much. It's been two weeks since everything happened, but I still miss him. I can't just forget about everything and get over it. I loved him so much. So much, that I had a child with him. Now I'm forced to move on with my life without him by my side. 

When I first got back, Caitlyn left a room for D/n and I. My best friend even bought clothes and toys for D/n. Cisco always wanted to babysit D/n, but I was still protective of her. "I promise. When I'm ready." I told him everytime he asked for one day with her. 

Joe and Iris always tried cheering her up when she got upset, but no one could cheer her up as much as Barry. I hated it. It angered me because he was nothing like Savitar, but D/n still loved him as much or even more than Savitar. 

I've told my family about D/n, but I haven't told them about Savitar. They don't even know about my powers or Jacob. Jacob..

I haven't seen him since that day. I mean, I don't regret what I did, but I wondered how he was. 

"Bring D/n here so we can meet her!" Elizay was talking to me on the phone as I sat in the cortex alone. "I don't know.. I-" 

She quickly interrupted me, "Is Jacob the father?" In shock, I choked in my own air. I had to find an answer and fast. 

Being the superhero he was, Barry walked in, "No, he's not. We're actually not together anymore." A lightbulb turned on as he sat next to me awkwardly. I muted my part of the phone call while she screamed and gasped. 

I spoke kindly towards him, "Bartholomew."

Elizay kept yelling, trying to get my attention, "Y/n! Who is the baby daddy?!" 

I looked at Barry with pleading eyes as my sister screamed in amusement and anger. Barry replied with the same voice, "Y/n."

I started my cry before asking him for a favor, "You don't have to if you don't want to."

His eyes looked confused, but intrigued. To be honest, this is the most I've talked to him since I came back. "C-Can you-" I said with a deep breath before he replied by taking my phone, "Hey, Elizay." 

I watched his movement as he happily talked with my younger sister, "She's actually with me right now… No.." Elizay's responses were inaudible making the conversation confusing to me. "Yeah, she is." He looked at me with a smile. 

I sat in the seat next to him quietly until they ended their conversation. "I'm sorry." I spoke out in a whisper. He looked at me, but said nothing. 

"We're invited to go to a Family Night with your family." 

I looked at him shocked. "You're kidding." He shook his head slowly. "Y-You don't have to come." I spoke as I stood from my seat. I walked to the bed in the medical lab where D/n was probably asleep or playing.  She cooed once she saw him. "How's my favorite girl?!" He spoke out in a baby voice. She began jumping without removing her feet from the crib. Barry turned to me,"Can I please carry her?" 

Frustrated, I nodded my head and waved my hand towards her. Excitedly, he grabbed her and played with her. They both looked so happy. 

Holding D/n on his side, Barry began to speak to me, "So are we dating or engaged?"

"Excuse me?" 

"To your family." 

I shook my head, "Let's just say it was a mistake. We're just together for her sake." 

Barry shook his head slowly and lightly played with my daughter. "Okay. As you wish." He said bluntly. The man in front of me changed his demeanor once he paid his full attention to D/n. Talking in his baby voice, he spoke to her, "Mommy is so mean to fake daddy."
