Caitlyn lightly asked, "What if we watched it together?"
"Alright"
They both sat in front of the small computer before Barry plugged in the drive. The man he once adored appeared and sighed, he zoomed the camera towards himself. He took off his glasses in frustration and sighed once more.
"Hello, Barry," he paused for a second.
"If you're watching this, that means something has gone horribly wrong."
He paused once more before speaking.
"I'm either dead or imprisoned and the last 15 years have been for nothing."
"Bummer." He jokingly spoke. Chuckling slightly Dr. Wells said, "15 years."
He stayed on topic focusing on the words he said, "You know, when I realized that in all those years helping raise you, we were never truly enemies, Barry."
Barry was outraged, infuriated. How could they not be enemies? He bit his cheek, trying not to attack the computer.
"I'm not the thing you hate. And so, I want to give you the thing that you want most."
Harrison looked toward his side and back to the camera as he lifted his glasses, "It won't matter. You'll never be truly happy, Barry Allen, trust me."
Barry looked at the video angrily. Waiting for him to say what he was planning to say.
"I know you."
Barry slightly turned his face from the video. Harrison did know Barry, but he didn't want to admit that.
"Now.."
Barry focused his attention back to the video of the man he loathed.
"Erase everything I said up to this point."
He then again zoomed the camera towards himself.
"Give the following message to the police."
Barry and Caitlyn carefully watched the video as Harrison spoke.
"My name is Harrison Wells. Being of sound, mind, and body, I freely confess to the murder of Nora Allen. In her home, on the night of March 18th, in the year 2000" Barry's eyes widened as tears began to form over the glistening green orbs. He watched the video for more details, "I attacked Nora in her dining room.-" Caitlyn was just as shocked as Barry, "Oh my god." She spoke as Harrison described his horrible acts.
"I stabbed her in the chest with a large butcher knife."
Caitlyn's eyes widened, "He confessed."
"From the drawer to the left of the sink in the kitchen…" Harrison described every detail to the fullest while Barry smiled in relief, "This is it." He spoke breathy. He quickly moved from his seat, "This is what I need to free my dad."
Barry quickly called Joe and spoke, stuttering a few words, "Hey, Joe… Can you have everyone meet me at STAR Labs?" Joe confirmed and they hung up. Caitlyn smiled and spoke at the shocked man in front of her, "I'll drive." He nodded his head quickly, saying a small, "okay."
After a while, Barry and Joe were together waiting for a confirmation for detectives to say it was enough to free Henry Allen. "Do you think the video is enough?" Joe spoke on the phone, while Barry paced around the floor. Barry couldn't handle the suspension, so he walked in front of Joe, "What'd they say?"
Joe put the phone over his chest and quickly spoke, "Wells gave all the right details. It's not a done deal yet, but the D.A. says it looks good."
Barry smiled in relief as he gave Joe a big hug. He walked away to tell the rest of the group the great news. Surprised, they all cheered silently at Barry's news. Although there was great news concerning his father, team Flash did their business and focused on the Meta at hand.
