Macy's POV

I don't know about you, but sleep is probably one of the greatest things God has blessed us. Like seriously there's a 100% chance that I'll sleep in today and just hang on my bed and come out the bedroom around 4 or 5 in the afternoon. But then Nash and Sophia started jumping up and down on my bed.

"Mom! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" Sophia screamed.

Then Nash threw water at me, a glass of water. Now I'm fucking awake. They ran to the living room because they knew I'd ran after them and I did.

I ran to the living room but I stopped when I saw some baggage standing next to the couch. I wasn't planning on going somewhere today, so maybe Nash and Sophia planned to have a father-daughter trip somewhere.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Well, I know you've worked hard these past few months so I decided to reward you. We're going to Hawaii!" He answered. "And don't worry about work, I already told them you'll be gone for a week, me and Sophia already packed your things. Now go dress up before we miss our flight."

Okay, act like your surprised.

"Really? Aww that's so sweet of you babe. I can't wait to arrive there and relax with the two of you."

I didn't know we'd leave today, I mean I knew that we were going to Hawaii but not today. Well at least I get to have some break from work and finally go to Hawaii after all the hints I gave to Nash.

The next day, I woke up to Nash being very busy on the phone. I assumed it's from work. Sophia was outside the balcony looking out at the ocean. I walked towards where she was and stood next to her.

"Good morning sweetie. What are you looking at?" I asked.

"The ocean. I wanna see if I can spot some dolphins. Mom, can you go with me by the beach, let's swim and have some fun?"

"Of course. Go change. I'll talk to your dad."

I waited for Nash to finish his phone call.

"Me and Sophia are gonna go to the beach and probably head to the pool after. Wanna come with us?" I said.

"Sorry I can't babe. I still have some phone calls to do. The management has some offers for me, and two of them are movies and one series. I need to be available." He replied and then kissed my cheek. "You girls have fun, I'll catch up as soon as I can."

"Oh okay."

I walked back to the bedroom and packed the things me and Sophia will need today. I'm kinda upset that Nash couldn't come with us. He's never like that. Also we did go to Hawaii to relax and forget about work but that's what he's been doing right now. Maybe I'm a little mad, it's just that he chose work over her daughter which unlikely to happen. I sure do hope Sophia doesn't get sad.

"Ready to go?"

Sophia gave me a nod. "How about dad?"

"Uhmm, honey, dad has some work related things to take care of but he'll go after us as soon as he can. I promise."

Her facial expression changed from excited to sad.

"Don't worry honey, we'll loads of fun today. Okay?" I smiled at her.

"Okay." She gave a smile back.

A few hours passed and we've been at the beach since morning til around 1 in the afternoon. We got hungry so we went back to the hotel and had lunch. After having lunch we went straight to the pool, well at least Sophia did. I just watched her swim and made some friends at the kiddie pool while I sat on one of the lounge chairs and just had a video call with Dani.
