A Few Years Later

Macy's POV

"I'll see you at North Carolina in a few weeks okay?" Braden told me.

"Yeah, thanks for letting me go." I replied.

I said goodbye and walked inside the airport. 

Braden and I became friends again. Eventually I forgave him for what he did. We aren't in a relationship, we just became close because we both had a job opportunity here in New York. Since he was the closest friend I have, we always accompany each other wherever we go.

Now I'm going back to California cause I got promoted and it requires me to live there, but also I do want to come back to Cali, its the right time to go back. After graduating I only stayed there for a few months and then went moved to New York.

Before I board the plane I received a phone call from Hanna.

"Hey." I said.

"Are you gonna be able to come later for dinner?" She asked.

"I'm not yet sure, I don't think so, I'm really sorry, I wanted to be there." I replied.

"That's okay Macy, I know you're busy. Too bad though, everyone's gonna be there."

"I know. Well, I'm gonna go now because I need to. I'll talk to you later. Congratulations!" I said quickly.

Once I boarded the plane and sat down, I immediately dozed off.

After 5 and a half hours of sleeping, I woke up to see the plane is landing. FInally, I'm back bitches. I immediately walked to the taxicab stand but wait, I see Zac Efron, alone, not being attacked by fans, this is my chance! I ran pulling my luggage with me and searched for my phone in my pocket. When I got it to him, I almost fell but luckily I didn't, that would've been embarrassing. 

"Can I have a picture with you. I'm such a big fan." Fangirl mode on, even though I'm 22 already. 

"Sure beautiful." He smiled.

I stretched my right arm and took the shot.

"Thank you so much!" I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs.

"Anytime." Zac answered.

After that I went back to the taxicab stand again.

Nash's POV

"Dude, I might be a little late for dinner, is that okay?" I said to Cameron through the phone.

"Oh Yeah. That's fine, as long as you'll come." He answered.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it. I'll see you later." 

Cameron and Hanna is hosting for a little gathering. Its gonna be at their house, which they bought a few months ago. I'm happy for them cause their relationship worked out. I can see Cameron is happy with Hanna and that she has changed Cam for the better.

I got out of bed and went in the shower. 

After a good 30 minutes, I got out and put on my clothes.

I got my car keys and left the apartment.

Macy's POV

I finally arrived at my apartment, empty apartment at least. Just kidding, it had furniture everywhere. I asked my interior designer to fix my apartment and she totally did, a complete makeover. I placed my luggage in my room and searched for something to wear. 

After changing, I organized my luggage before leaving.

I locked my doors and held my clutch.

I took the elevator and went straight to the parking lot.

There I saw my Mini Cooper, I missed it. It was the first car I bought for myself. 

I looked at the time and it was already 7 PM which means I'm already late for the dinner. Yeah, I told Hanna I wasn't gonna come because I wanted to surprise her and the others. I like surprising people.

I finally arrived at their house. After almost an hour stuck in traffic I was there. The house was pretty big actually. I shut off my car and walked to the front door. I took a deep breathe and rang the doorbell.

Nash's POV

In the midst of having dinner, the doorbell rang.

"Babe, are we expecting someone?" Cam asked.

"I don't think so. I'll go see who's here." Hanna answered.

'I'll come with." Cam added.

A few seconds later, I heard Hanna squealing.

Hanna and Cam comes back to the dining room smiling,

Cam sits next to me and said "I can't wait to see the look on your face once you see who it is."

I started to get nervous because of Cam's words.

"You guys are never gonna believe who's here." Hanna giggled.

"Surprise!" When I looked to see who it was, I was happy and shocked. It was Macy. I thought I'd never see her again. She looked beautiful as always. She was even blonde and she looked great.

The room was filled with gasping and saying how pretty she looked.

"When did you dye your hair?" Dani asked.

"A few days ago. I wanted to try something different." She said.

"I thought you aren't gonna come?" Hanna asked.

"You know I like surprising people. And why would I miss your engagement party, dinner, whatever its called. Now let me see the ring." Hanna shows her the ring and they both squealed.

"Hey Macy, you remember Nash right?" Cam said while smirking. 

"Yes, how could I forget my friend. Its been years since we last talked." Macy answered looking at me. I think my cheeks were red as roses.

Cam gave a chair for Macy to sit on but before she sat down, she raised her glass of wine and said "A toast, to the newly engaged couple, Cameron and Hanna, may your relationship last forever. Congratulations." 

"Cheers!" Everyone said.

"So how are you?" I asked Macy in front of everyone, I can see the look on their faces.

"I'm great. I just got back from New York, I'm staying here in California for good, I guess. How about you?" Cam texted me saying "Shit just got real bro."

"Same, career's doing great. Happily single and ready to mingle." What did I just say. Everyone laughed.

"Good for you?" Macy answered.

After dinner and all the talking. We decided to call it a night.

When me and Macy bumped into each I suddenly asked her something out of nowhere.

"Macy," I said.

"Yeah?"

"We're good right?" I said.

"Yeah, past is past right." She smiled at me and went in her car.
