Macy's POV

"Yeah mom, I'm about to leave the apartment." I said.

"Okay sweetie. Have a safe flight! Also Braden is the one who's gonna pick you up because me and your dad are gonna be at work when you arrive. I hope that's okay." My mom answered through the phone.

"Its okay mom, I understand. I'll see you in a few hours!"

"See you! Love you sweetie!"

"Love you too! Tell dad I said hi."

I hung up the phone and walked towards the elevator.

Dani offered to take me to the airport since she was heading that way too because Shawn was leaving also, he's gonna go to New York for an interview for Good Morning America. She wanted to go with Shawn but its the same date with Digifest LA.

I forgot to mention that Hanna and Dani are still making youtube videos, they've been in a couple of hit TV shows which is awesome! Because of them I have met some pretty famous people and its so cool. Okay back to Digifest, well they're coming and so are my other youtuber and viner friends.

Dani was waiting in her car while I struggled getting my bag out of the building door. Once I had it fixed I hurriedly walked to the car.

"Calm your tits woman! I'm here!" She kept hitting the car horn and stopped when I told her to.

"Can we get Starbucks first before picking up Shawn?" She asked.

"Is that even a question? Drive woman!" I exclaimed.

So basically we went to Starbucks and got some snacks for our trip to the airport cause we knew we'd be stuck in traffic.

30 minutes later we arrived at where Shawn was. He was waiting outside, surprisingly not being surrounded by girls.

Dani stopped right in front of him. I opened the window and looked at him with my sunglasses on.

"Sorry but I got here first so you're sitting at the back." I smiled.

"Fine." He said. Dani hit my shoulder giving me a look.

"Well I did got here first, you didn't help me with my bag and I am not gonna let another third-wheel moment in my life anytime soon." I winked.

She drove the car to LAX. As expected we had encountered traffic.

We arrived at the airport in time for my flight. I said goodbye to the couple and boarded the plane.

As soon as I sat down, I immediately got my iPad and started reading. I've been really into reading lately and I really don't know why, I wasn't in fond of reading a few years ago.

Maybe after a good 5 chapters, I dozed off the rest of the flight.

After a few hours of sleep, the plane finally landed. Oh dear God how I missed North Carolina. I think I haven't got here ever since I left for UK.

The stewardess had to wake me up because I was in a deep sleep and almost all of the passengers had left the plane.

I hurriedly stood up and got my bag. Since my bag was hand-carry I didn't need to wait for it in the baggage claim where all the others are waiting.

I unlocked my phone and quickly texted Braden to tell him I have already arrived.

To clear things up, Braden is not my boyfriend, I gave him a chance to be one but it just didn't work out, I just saw him as a close friend, believe me I've tried. He's staying with us before leaving for the UK since he wants to go back their to take care of their family business.

Enough about Braden, so yeah I did text and call him but I got no response. Well, there's nothing to do but wait for him to answer.

I stayed at a cafe inside the airport and waited for Braden. I called my mom to ask where Braden was and she said that she'll give him a call. Great, I'm probably gonna wait for another hour before he arrives.

And now I wished I hadn't thought of that because it actually did happen. Maybe like one and a half, he better have a good excuse for making me wait or else.

"Macy I am so sorry! I fell asleep and forgot that I was suppose to pick you up. I'm really sor-" He explained.

"Shhhh. Shut the fuck up. Explain further and I am gonna punch your face hard that it will leave a huge scar. Now hold my bag and lets go home." I said.

"Are you mad?" He asked.

"Hmm not really just annoyed that you made me wait. I'm just messing with you Braden. Now give me a hug." I said.

He hugged me and I whispered something.

"I seriously wanna punch you though." I grinned.

We both laughed and started walking towards the car.

"When did you arrive here?" I asked.

"Last night."

"Ohhh. Well I'm hungry so you better drive fast." I smirked.

He literally followed my instruction and drove fast. We almost had a speeding ticket but no, take that traffic enforcers! What the hell am I saying.

We arrived at the house in less than 30 minutes. When we got there I immediately ran to the house and to the kitchen. Once I got there I saw my parents cooking.

"Mom! Dad!" I screamed and ran to them to give them a hug. "I thought you guys are at work?"

"We wanted to go home early to prepare dinner for you." Dad answered.

"Awwww. Well I'm starving so is it ready yet?"

"Just in time sweetie."

"Yassssssssss!" I screamed.

Braden and I set up the dining table and helped out with my parents in the food preparation.

Once we got settled down, we prayed and started to eat.

"How's work honey?" Dad asked.

"Its doing great. Most of my patients are kids so its a lot of fun but I do handle some adults."

"That's good to hear." He replied.

"And how about the plans for Hanna and Cam's wedding?" Mom asked.

"We've done a lot already. Its all coming together and I can't wait when their wedding day comes!" I answered.

"How about Nash?" Braden smirked. Seriously Braden, seriously.

I didn't answer him and just rolled my eyes.

"Speaking of Nash, he was here the other day. He invited us to Skylynn's birthday party." Mom stated.

"Nash is here? As in here in North Carolina? In our house?" I stuttered.

"Yes sweetie. Is there something wrong?"

"No. I'm good. Let's just continue eating."

The thought of Nash being here actually got me worried because I can already feel sooner or later he's gonna come here again and talk to me or something. I just hope mom didn't tell him anything because if she did then I am screwed.
