Macy's POV

Its been almost 2 years, and I am happy that today I'm finally graduating. My parents are arriving soon from LA, I'm so excited to see them again. Its 4 AM and I'm already awake because I was so excited. Since no one was awake and I got no one to talk too, I went online to check how everybody's doing. I posted on my twitter account saying "Graduation."

As soon as I tweeted that, my followers started congratulating me and stuff. I'm actually surprised that even me and Nash broke up they still care about me, I'm no celebrity, I don't sing or make youtube videos and vines but they still notice me.

Hanna tweeted me.

"@HannaG : @macywilliams Facetime, now!"

I called her and when I saw her on the screen, almost everyone was there. Well, Cam, Hanna, Dani, Shawn, Carter and Matt was there.

"Congratulations!" They all screamed, which I think damaged my ears cause I was wearing earphones.

"Thank you guys!" I said happily.

"When are you coming back?" Carter asked.

"In a few months I hope. I still have some things to do here after graduation but I am coming back to Cali, I'm just not sure when."

"We can't wait to say you!" Dani exclaimed.

"Me too!"

The conversation went on until 7 AM. I'm pretty sure I woke up everyone since I was so loud and noisy.

We finished the video call around 7:30. I said goodbye cause I still have to prepare for my graduation. I got out of my room and headed downstairs to have breakfast.

From a few meters away, I could already smell the food served for breakfast. I walked quickly and saw the whole family having breakfast.

"Good morning honey." Mrs. Calvin said.

"Morning." I replied.

"You ready for later?" Mr. Calvin asked.

"I hope so." I bit my lip.

"Mom what time will I pick up Macy's parents?" Braden said.

"9:30. You guys need to be fast okay cause the graduation ceremony starts at 11." Mrs. Calvin answered.

We continued eating breakfast and they asked me how I was feeling. Of course I said that I was excited but at the same time I'm very nervous. The time has finally come, all of the hard work I've done will not come to waste.

It was already 9 AM and I decided to get ready. Before going in the bathroom I sent my parents a text saying "Can't wait to see you both. Love you!"

I took a bath and started to think about everything I've gone through out my college years. I was smiling, only trying to think of the good memories.

I finally got out of the bathroom and put on my underwear then a bathrobe to cover it. Since I was not really a make-up person and I did't know what to do with my hair, I asked Jane and Mrs. Calvin for help.

They fixed my hair, from straight hair to loose curls. And then applied a small amount of make-up, it was still noticeable.

They helped me out in wearing my dress, it was a Sherri Hill dress. It was black and the torso had a floral detail. I wore a pair of black pumps. I texted Jane that I was gonna come down already. My friends from LA was waiting to see me too, they were on a video call.

I walked out of my room holding my phone and closed it.

Slowly walking to the staircase I let out a sigh.

I finally got to the stairs, and everybody's eyes were fixed at me.

When I got down all I could here gasping out of excitement and the word "Wow."

I shot a smile at them and broke the silence. "Pictures anyone?" I giggled.

-----------------------------

We arrived at the venue 30 minutes before the graduation ceremony starts. I still had the chance to see my friends. I lead the Calvin's at their seats, my parents and Braden wasn't there yet which made me worry a little bit.

"Girl you look hot as fuck." Sara said.

"Likewise Sara." I smirked.

"All hail to the queen!" Ken and Andy exclaimed and we all laughed.

"Good luck on your speech later, make sure to make us cry okay." Andy told me.

Before I can even answer back someone tapped on my shoulder. I looked to see who it was and I saw my parents standing there with Braden on the side.

I quickly hugged them.

"Mom! Dad! I missed you so much!" I got a little teary-eyed.

"Save the tears for later sweetie." Mom said.

I said goodbye to my friends first and then lead my parents to there seats together with Braden.

----------------------------------

"Let us now welcome to the stage this class' top student, Macy Williams for her speech" Everyone cheers as I walked up to the podium.

I breathed slowly before I speak and gave everyone a smile.

"Good afternoon everyone. I'm Macy Williams and I would like to say that I am very honored to be standing in front of everyone giving this speech. This day is one of the most awaited event in everyone's life. Its the day that we, the students, are finally graduating, the day that all of our hard work in all the tests, essays, projects and many more, pays off. Throughout this journey, I'm pretty sure a lot has happened. School related or personal issues. I myself have experienced that alot but that didn't stop me from studying. I can remember the days when we answer our parents when we do something disappointing that it school related and we answer them, "Its not that easy as it looks." I'm positive almost everyone had used that line, I know I did. There were times that I wanted to give up at some point because of everything that's been happening in my life, when it was broken into pieces. That time, I didn't know what to do, I didn't know who I could run to but everyone was there for me. In short, there comes into anyone's life that you'll experience that problem after problem will arrive in your life. Luckily, we have friends and family that know what and how to make us feel and be happy. So after this graduation, take the time to say thank you to every single one of them. This whole experience was hard but its all worth the wait, I assure you that. Every student in here, I want you guys to feel proud, we made it for crying out loud. That means we're free but I hope you'll use that free time for good. I know every single one of us deserves this..... Thank you and congratulations to everyone." Everyone stands up and applauded.

-------------------------------------

After the graduation ceremony, we ate at a fancy restaurant and the whole family congratulated me, even giving me graduation gifts which was a complete surprise to me. I'm finally free, I can do anything and everything I want.

--------------------------------------

Okay, I'm gonna skip a good 2 years again cause yeah, thats my plan and Macy has already graduated so yeeah. :D I hope you enjoyed this chapter and sorry for the crappy graduation speech, I'm not sure if I did that right. lol
