Nash's POV

If there's one thing I know, that's I love sleep. I was just laying down in bed when my peaceful sleep was disturbed by the one and only Skylynn. She ran inside my room screaming my name and then jumped up and down on my bed.

"Nash! Nash! Nash! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" She screamed.

"What?" I groaned.

"Can we go out today?" She asked.

"Ughhhh." I responded.

"Please oh please Nashy."

"Fine. Give me 5 minutes." I answered.

"Nooooo! Get up now!"

"Okay sassy pants. I'm up." I got out of bed and lazily walked to the bathroom.

I went in the bathroom and stayed in the bathtub. I thought Skylynn wouldn't suspect that I was trying to sleep again but after 5-10 minutes she stormed in the bathroom and shouted at me.

"Nash!" Skylynn shouted at me.

"What! What!" I was startled.

She raised her eyebrow and looked at me sassily.

"Nash this is the only time you get to spend time with me and you're wasting it because you're not always here. I hate you!" Well that escalated quickly.

"Sky come on...."

She locked herself in her room. I ran after her and my mom noticed what happened.

"What's wrong sweetie?" She asked.

"Sky wanted to go out with me and I was acting lazy because I was tired and now she's mad at me cause she said I was wasting the chance." I replied.

She gave me a look and I immediately knew what she means.

"Sky. Please open the door. I just want to talk."

I waited for a few minutes before Skylynn opened her door. I slowly walked in and searched for Sky in her room. I found her beside her bed on the floor.

"Sky...."

"What!" She answered angrily. I noticed thag she was crying. I sat beside her and hugged her.

"Its just, you've been really busy these days and you're being distant. I'm trying to reach out but it feels like you're pushing me away from you. If you don't want to spend time with me just say it okay." She stated.

"What? I'm not pushing you away nor do I not want to spend time with you. Sky you mean a lot to me, so why would I ignore you. I'm just really tired that's all. I don't want you to feel that and don't ever think of that again. From now on, no matter how tired I am, I want you to wake me up. Don't hesitate and think that I'll get mad, just do it. I'm really sorry if I made you upset." I explained.

She hugged me and rested her head on my chest. I started tickling her and she started laughing hysterically.

"Nash stop it!" She screamed.

She begged for me to stop but I didn't stop for another few seconds. She was catching her breathe and I asked her something.

"You still wanna go out?" I smiled at her. Sky's eyes widen so big as an owl and nodded yes multiple times.

I laughed at her reaction as I walked out of her room.

I took a shower and prepared for the day ahead of us. As soon as I finished I quickly went downstairs to see Skylynn playing with Hayes and Rachel.
