Macy's POV

"Hey mom. I just found out that I'm not gonna be able to go home for Christmas cause I need to finish some papers but I can go home a few days after?" I said through the phone.

"That's okay sweetie. Me and your dad are going to Australia for Christmas anyways so there's no one home." 

"You're what? Australia? What?" I exclaimed out of confusion.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that to you. We're going to Australia, you were supposed to come with us but since you said you can't come then that means only me and your dad will go there. Don't worry we'll go there another time, all together." She answered.

"Mom, you also said that with the cruise you had like 2 years ago, nothing happened." 

"Well, its not our fault you're so busy. Even doing extra curricular school-related jobs during your summer break." 

"You've made your point mom, you can stop now." I said. "Well then, enjoy your trip while I work hard for my grades. Miss you guys so much! Love you!" 

"We love and miss you too sweetie. Good luck with school! Just a few more years and all your hardwork will pay off." Hearing my mom encourage me made me determined to give my best in everything. I do miss them so much, the Calvins have been so nice to me but wouldn't it be nice to be with your parents even if for a few days but there's nothing I can do.

Speaking of Christmas, Nash's birthday is coming up and I don't know what to do, considering the fact that I'm miles away from him, I want it to be special, not just a greeting or a video call telling my wishes for him and stuff like that. So I consoled my dear friends Ken and Andy to ask what I should do.

"Send him his favorite things, like candies or something?"

"Do what fan accounts do, make an edit for him and then post it with a heart-warming caption"

"Or let the boys buy him something with your orders?"

"Wait! I know what you should do!" Andy exclaimed.

Nash's POV

A few days before Christmas, also my birthday! Yeah! Its my first time spending Christmas with friends since we've been really busy out here in LA so we didn't get the chance to sneak in a little holiday break in our schedules. We decided to spend Christmas with Cam's family since they were the closest ones we've got.

Cam told me that Athena stopped by while I was gone with Yoshi. I texted her and asked why she was at our apartment and she said that she just wanted to see me. 

The boys and I were planning to throw a party for my birthday since that's one of the best things we could do with our growing group of friends. I agreed to the suggestion and started calling people and asking what we can do for the party. Fortunately Cam knows a guy that can find us a great place to throw the party and also a DJ. I just let them plan the party since they're good at those things while I'm just gonna take a break from all the things that has been happening around lately.

Macy's POV

Andy gave me the perfect idea for Nash's birthday! Even I didn't thought of it in the first place but now that she mentioned it, I realized it was what I should do. They helped me prepare all the things that I needed. It was worth the time and money since its for Nash although it won't last long. 

Now I'm all excited for his birthday and how he'd react when time comes. Sometimes I just think to myself that I'm the best girlfriend ever and then I don't.  My minds pretty messed up right now. 

I looked at the time and it was only 7 in the evening. Since I've got nothing to do and my friends are not at the house anymore I decided to be productive and start working on the papers I need to submit at its deadline which is at the 26th. Stupid professor, giving work during the Christmas break. It was no joke cause it has a big effect on my grades so I had to do it. 

I opened my laptop and checked on my social media first. I looked at my twitter mentions and its still the same things I see as always but some tweets caught my attention, it was about a girl named Athena and Nash. I looked their names and let's just say I did some research. Most of the tweets I saw was "Nash and Macy broke up because of this girl Athena." and stuff like that, mostly saying we broke up. Since when did that happen?

Sometimes this kinds of things get out of hand pretty easily and the whole fandom will talk about it in a matter of minutes, and it did. I decided to stay quiet about it and just focus on what I needed to do.

I started typing for my paper and after a good 30 minutes I was already on my 3rd page. Guess I was into the thought of just finish it and relax after. 

I ran out of things to type so I saved it and decided to continue it tomorrow. I looked through my movies and found something to watch. By that time it was around 11 already, I didn't mind staying up late since its Sunday tomorrow. I sneaked downstairs to the kitchen to get some snacks then ran back up to my room. 

Once again, I was in my own little world.
