The day after the party Spencer had a hangover but he still went to Saturday days practice only to find out Jordan and Asher lied to him it wasn't just a couple of drills they were doing.
"Hey, thanks for the ride last night." JJ said as he wakes up to Spencer.
"What?" Spencer said while stretching
"Ah, you didn't drop me off at my house?" JJ asked
"Nah, bro." Spencer said
"Whoo! Time to buck up, buttercup. Booster hawks are watching." JJ said and point out there was people walking to the bleacher.
"Who's that?" Spencer asked
"Boosters here to see what you got." JJ said
"Yo, I thought it was just drills." Spencer said
"Nah, man, scrimmage day. Whoo! Whoo! Let's go, man." JJ said and walked away smiling leaving Spencer with a confused look.
Then the boys started planing the scrimmage game and since Spencer had a hangover he wasn't at his best making him and his team look bad and starts to lose.
[WHISTLE BLOWS]
"Get it together, man. You smell like a party bus." Asher said
"Heh heh. More like Tequila and regret." Jordan said
"Hold up, y'all set me up? Last night I thought..." Spencer said and got cut off by Asher.
"Thought what? Thought that we were a team, friends? The only reason you were even at that party is because we told Leila to get you there." Asher said
"To what? What, haze me? Make me look bad? You got me confused with somebody else, bruh." Spencer said
"Then go back to Crenshaw." Asher said
"What'd you say? Say that again, bruh. Come on, bruh. What? Say it again, bruh." Spencer said as he walked up on Asher ready to fight him when Billy came over to break it up.
"I will not let you blow this. One fight, and you're done. Game over. Cool it." Billy told Spencer and walked over to Jordan
"And you... you should know better than this." Billy told Jordan
"Oh, do not put this on me, Dad. You worked this whole thing up. It was all a lie. Even the guy's permit to be at the school was a lie, a lie to save yourself. Hey, yo, Spencer, you think he cares about you? He's just trying to save his job, OK? - That's... that's what matters." Jordan said
"Enough." Billy said
"Not you." Jordan said
"Jordan." Billy said trying to make his son be quiet
"You don't matter to..." Jordan said
"Jordan, enough. Enough. Back to work." Billy said and Jordan walked away.
