"You guys saved my ass. Asher told Spencer as Spencer walked up to him.
"Whose car did we just fix, man?" Spencer asked
"It belongs to the family that owns the house. They're always out of the country. We rent the guesthouse so I can play ball at Beverly." Asher said
"Why are you doing this, pretending you got all this money?" Spencer asked
"A year ago, I wasn't pretending. We were loaded. We lost everything overnight. Was I supposed to change who I am? I don't know how to be the poor kid." Asher said
"Spencer, we got a serious problem." Big J said as he and Madison walked up.
"Where's the Porsche?" Asher asked
"Good question. I parked it right there. Someone must've boosted it." Big J said
"No," Asher said
"I watched him park it right here exactly," Madison said
"I feel bad about this, Spencer." Big J said
"It's not your fault man," Madison said
—-Later At The Barbershop—-
After the Porsche got stolen at Big Js shop Madison, Spencer, and Asher all went to the barbershop Coop worked at to talk to her and tell her what happened.
"Stolen?" Coop asked
"Right out of Big Js lot," Spencer said
"It just disappeared," Madison said
"What are y'all gonna do?" Coop asked
"There is nothing to do," Madison said
"It's gone, Coop. And it's all my fault. If I hadn't have taken it to Big J's." Spencer said
"It might not be gone yet. But, listen I could make a call, but y'all not gonna like it. If the car's still in the neighborhood, Shawn probably heard about it." Coop said
"Absolutely not," Madison said
"Nah. look, I don't want this on him," Spencer said
"Come on, man. Shawn is not who y'all think he is. He got me this job. And if I ask him for help, he's gonna do this for me." Coop said
"I know exactly who Shawn is," Madison said
"And why'd he do this for you?" Spencer asked
"Cause Shawn got my back. So it's on y'all." Coop said
—-Later Outside The Barbershop—-
A little later after talking it over Madison and Spencer decided they had no other choice other than to call Shawn and ask him for his help to get the Porsche back even though they knew he'd want something in return.
"What's up, Spence? Me and him go way back. We used to get into some trouble back in the day. I remember we played darts in my uncle's garage, tore that board up. And he picked up a football one day and never looked back. Suddenly, I was a bad influence. So when Coop called, I thought, "Nah. "She must be playing. Spencer James don't need anybody's help." But here you are." Shawn said
"Here I am," Spencer said
"I know this is hard for you, but I'ma need you to say it because we equals now. Say it. You need me." Shawn said
"Spencer, you don't need to do this," Asher said
"I need you, Shawn," Spencer said
"Damn. That felt good. But I know you didn't come alone where's Madison?" Shawn asked looking around trying to find her when she walked out of the barbershop.
