"Beverly bests Culver. Barely." Billy said showing Jordan and Asher a news article about Beverly on his tablet.

"So you guys gonna make this easy on me, tell me what's going on?" Billy asked making Jordan and Asher look at each other than Asher finally spoke up.

"OK, he needs to learn how to read a defense, coach," Asher said

"He won't stop bitching. "Pass to me." "Don't pass to me," Jordan said

"I should've broken a receiving record last year," Asher said

"What's it gonna be, Ash, huh? Huh?" Jordan told Asher

"OK, OK, OK. See, back in my day, coach would make us walk all the way home from practice together till we could work it out. But times have changed. So I'm gonna take you, boys, on a little field trip instead. Come on." Billy said walking out of the weight room and the boys followed.

"I've seen Coop has been hanging out with Shawn lately," Kia said

"Yeah, she has," Madison said

"So.." Kia said

"So what? They've been friends as long as I've been friends with him she just didn't cut him off when he started to really get into the gang life." Madison said

"Do you miss him?" Kia asked

"Do you miss Spence?" Madison asked

"I see what you did there," Kia said laughing making Madison also laugh.

"Yeah so let's not talk about ex's here," Madison said

"Speaking of Spencer where did he just go?" Kia asked

"I don't know probably back to Beverly," Madison said

"You think he went to go hang out with Jordan?" Kia asked making Madison look at her.

"What is with you?" Madison asked throwing a pillow at her.

"What I was just asking because after the barbecue Chris kept saying that you and Jordan were a thing," Kia said

"Maybe I need to go talk to Chris about spreading false rumors," Madison said

"Yeah, maybe you should," Kia said

—-Meanwhile At The Cafe—-

"Spencer, hey, thanks for coming," Layla said

"For sure. Nothing I like more than coming to work on my day off." Spencer told Layla as he sat next to her.

"Sorry. my dad needs to talk to you about something, but I need to talk to you before he gets here," Layla said pulling out the engagement ring she took from her dad.

"That's kind of fast, Layla. We not even holding hands yet." Spencer said

"Shut up. This is serious. I think my dad wants to propose to China." Layla said

"And you're not happy about that," Spencer said

"Dating is one thing, but marriage? Come on. She's barely older than me. I just don't want anyone taking advantage of my dad. So I was thinking maybe you could do that thing and find out." Layla said

"What thing?" Spencer asked

"Read her," Layla said making Spencer chuckle

"That's not a superpower, Layla," Spencer said

"Look, please. I need your help. I just don't want my dad to make a huge mistake." Layla said

"OK," Spencer said agreeing to help Layla.
