"Hey, Baker," Madison said
"Hey. You going back Crenshaw you need a ride?" Jordan asked
"No, I actually have a game today you know girl's basketball has a rummage game," Madison said
"Oh yeah, that's right. Where is it?" Jordan asked
"It's Malibu you know where our rivals live. Or do you not know?" Madison said hinting at the fact he's still dating Ripley
"Oh my god what is so wrong with me dating someone who goes to our rival school?" Jordan asked
"I don't know Baker just don't end up like Romeo," Madison said
"And who is Ripley supposed to be Juliette?" Jordan asked
"I don't know you tell me," Madison said
"Look I asked her if she set me up she said no I believe her you should too," Jordan said
"I don't think she set you up Jordan I think you made that dumb mistake on your own but look I gotta go see ya," Madison said as she started walking toward the door.
"Yeah okay," Jordan said
—-Two Hours Later—-
"Hey, Spencer. What are you doing here? I thought you'd be at Madison's game." Jordan said
"I am not going I got work so I am sitting this one out," Spencer said
"That's surprising I thought you two always go to each other's games," Jordan said
"Yeah only when we can if the other person got a game or work or something we just don't go," Spencer said
"Well, who's going to be there for her?" Jordan asked
"I don't think nobody is going to this one it's far and I and my moms got work so we both can't make it but I am surprised you're not out with the team celebrating our win," Spencer said
"Yeah well it's been a couple of days since we won so I am all good on celebrating," Jordan said
"Well I gotta go I gotta go clock in so might be able to catch the end of Madison game if they let me off early which they normally don't do I don't know," Spencer said
"Well alright dude have fun I heard the boys were coming up there," Jordan said
"Which is why they don't let me off early," Spencer said as he walked out shaking his head.
—-Later At The Game—-
As Jordan walked into the gym room the first thing he spotted was Madison running down the court dribbling the ball in her hand then passing it to her teammate number 21 making 21 try to find an opening since she was being guarded but couldn't so she pretended to shoot the ball in the hoop but instead throw the ball back over to Madison who then shot a three-pointer shot making the crowd go wild as she did her victory dance.
"And that's another three-pointer for Beverly made by number 14 Madison James." The announcer said into his microphone
"Go, James!" Jordan yelled standing over by the cheerleaders making Madison notice him making her shake her head.
"Whatchu doing here?" Madison asked smiling as she ran backward toward the person she was supposed to be guarding but still looking at Jordan.
"I am here for you!" Jordan yelled back to Madison as she got her head back in the game.
As Madison ran down the court all she heard was the crowd cheering then one of her teammates that had stolen the ball put up their hand telling Madison to get open which she did and suddenly she was running with the ball toward the bucket dodging the other players left and right she then throw it to her teammate who then dunked the ball gaining cheers from the crowd.
