Two Games In One Day

—-Meanwhile—-

"Whose house is this?" Billy yelled

"Our house!" The team yelled back

"Whose house is this?" Billy yelled again

"Our house!" The team yelled back

"We gonna kick them out of our house?" Billy said

"Hell, yeah!" The team yelled

"Get 'em, boys!" Billy said

"Ok, folks, it's down to the 4th quarter and Looks like Hawthorne is going for it. They've been aggressive all season, and tonight's been no different." The announcer said

"The team's moving up to press coverage now. Hoppin' up on his feet. James with the stop! This kid is a one-man wrecking ball." The announcer said and the whistle blew.

"James stays out on offense again. He's been playing both ways all night." The announcer said

"Another miscommunication for the eagles. I think playing both ways is starting to take a toll on the young transfer from Crenshaw." The Announcer said and the crowd cheered

ANNOUNCER: "And that's the end of the first half. Hawthorne leads, - . The eagles have a lot to talk about in the locker room." The announcer said

"Let's go! Let's go!"

—-Mean while during Madison basketball game—-

"You girls are going to go out there and show them what you girls got." Coach Foster said

"Yeah!" A girl named Paige on Madison's basketball team said.

"Because what are we?" Coach Foster yelled

"Eagles." The basketball team yelled back

"And who's gonna win?" Coach Foster yelled

"We are!" The team yelled

"Yeah we are!" Coach Foster said and started making  whistling noises like an eagle's and the girls followed and did the same thing.

"Okay get out there girls." Coach Foster said

And some of the girls including Madison went out to the court while some went to sit on the bench waiting for their turns to play in the game.

After a few hard passes and missed points the eagles girls basketball team were now down by 20 Points in the third quarter.

"Another missed point for the eagles. I think the team isn't working as great together as they did last game. Just look at them there everywhere." The Announcer said and Coach Foster called for a time out and the eagles came running to her.

"Do you hear what the announcer is saying about you girls out there." Coach Foster said as the team huddled up.

"Yes." The team agreed

"You girls need to start playing as a team. I know y'all had to take laps the other day since you girls lost the bet but that on you girls." Coach Foster said

"Yeah, some of us actually made our shots." One of the Eagles said

"Well you all had to take laps didn't you." Coach Foster

"Yes Coach." The eagles said

"Okay we'll today you will play as a team like winners or lose like losers playing alone. You girls need to remember basketball is a team sport not just a friends sport." Coach Foster

"We know." The team captain said as the rest of the team nodded.

"Okay we'll if y'all know what you girls have to do then go out there and do it and bring us home a win." Coach Foster said and the girls ran back to the court to continue the game.
