—-Meanwhile—-
"Ha! Wow. So, your dad was really that mad?" Ripley asked
"Yeah. Billy Baker takes his football very, very seriously." Jordan said as they sat down at a table
"You said he played in the NFL?" Ripley asked
"Yeah, until he blew his knee out. Now he just takes his aspirations out on his players." Jordan said
"Mm. see, that's the problem with you athletes. I mean, my brother does the same thing. You put your all into some game, and then for what? To end up with some busted knee? No, thanks. I guess for me, there's just more to life than just football." Ripley said as Jordan noticed Asher across the room starting a game of pool.
"On that thought, somebody I need to deal with," Jordan told Ripley as he got up and started walking toward Asher.
"I know. I know." Asher told Jordan
"You slut-shamed my sister. OK? You made a fool out of yourself." Jordan said
"I got dumped. I was drunk." Asher said
"And now you're out of tonight's game, out for Homecoming," Jordan said
"Exactly. My life is destroyed, but, hey, at least I got what I deserved, right?" Asher asked
"Destroyed? Listen, Ash, grow up, man. There's more to life than just football." Jordan said
"Not for me. Not anymore. It's over. Without me, there's no way that you guys win tonight." Asher said as he walked away leaving Jordan just standing there.
—-Meanwhile At The Bakers House—-
"How do I look?" Madison asked spinning around
"The varsity jacket was a good touch," Olivia said
"Thank you thank you," Madison said
"So what happened on homecoming night?" Olivia asked
"I think we both know what happened," Madison said
"No I mean with you and Lucas Hernandez I saw you two leaving before everything happened," Olivia said
"Oh yeah we listen to Spanish music the whole drive over to his house I didn't have the heart to tell him that I didn't know half the words," Madison said
"Yeah he used to do that at parties to good music but some of us couldn't really understand it," Olivia said
"Yeah well I know a little bit of Spanish I mean how can you live in LA and not know a little bit of Spanish," Madison said
"That's true and can you know Lucas without knowing a little bit," Olivia said
—-Meanwhile In The Locker Room—-
"Ugh. What are you, lost?" Billy asked
"Actually, I know my way around. This used to be my office, remember?" Coach Skolnick told Billy
"Yeah, well, it's my locker room now, so, aren't you early for this meeting with the refs?" Billy asked checking his watch for the time.
"Looks like I'm right on time." Coach Skolnick said as the refs walked in.
"Gentlemen, good to see you," Billy said shaking one of their hands
"Good to see you." A ref said
"I noticed you haven't put up any new championship banners since you started here. It's too bad they don't hand them out for losing. Most of those are mine." Coach Skolnick said
