"Ugh what's taking her so long?!" Rem exclaimed impatiently tapping her foot. As she said that, a portal appears next to them and there comes out the one and only Y/n. "There you are, what took you so long?" Tomo asked crossing his arms.

"Akira and Kazan felt the need to give me a lecture about what to do and not do before I left." Y/n said scratching her cheek. "The airship is here, we should go now." Riko said and the group nodded before going onto the airship.

"Oh I can't believe my baby sister is going to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!" A blonde hugged a shorter girl with black hair that fades into red. "Geez stop..." Ruby mumbled while practically getting squeezed to death. "But I'm so proud of you!"

"Really sis, it was nothing." "What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is gonna think you're the bees knees!"

At the other end of the ship, Y/n and her friend group were see talking to each other about random shit. "God why are blondes so annoying." Tomo said while their ears went down. "Tomo, don't be rude." Riko said fixing the cloth on her bicep. "Ugh whatever." Tomo said crossing his arms like a four year old getting grounded.

"In other news this Saturday's faunus civil rights protest turned dark when members of the white fang disrupted the ceremony, the once now peaceful organization has now disrupted.-" The news broadcaster was cut off by a hologram of a blonde woman appearing.

"Hello and welcome to Beacon, my name is Glynda Goodwitch, you are among the privileged few who have received the honor to attend this prestigious academy, our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace and as future huntsman and huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide the knowledge and the training to protect our world." After the whole speech, the hologram disappears

"Where are we even supposed to go?" Tomo asked while he walked with their friend group. "You're the smartass here, you're supposed to know, dumbass..." Rem mumbled while leaning against Riko a bit. "What the fuck did you just call me?!" Tomo glared at his cousin, his teeth baring as Rem sticked her tongue out at them. "Sometimes I question why we're friends with them, and you have a crush on her..." Y/n mumbled causing Riko to hit her shoulder. "Shut up she's gonna hear you." Riko whispered. "You two literally have bandanas that matches each other's eyes."

Riko blushed at the statement and her ears go down causing Y/n to chuckle as she leads the group to wherever they were supposed to go.

"Ruby! Over here! I saved you a spot!"

"Oh, hey I gotta go, see you after the ceremony!" Ruby walked away from her new friend, Jaune to go to her older sister. "Hey wait-! Ugh great, where am I supposed to find another quirky girl to talk to?" Jaune said going into the crowd.

"How's your day going little sister?" Yang asked turning to the shorter girl. "You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?" The younger one said. "Yikes, meltdown already?" "No I literally exploded a hole infront of the school and there was fire an- and I think some ice?"

"Are you being sarcastic?" Yang said with a grin and Ruby scoffs. "I wish! I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage! And then she yelled at me! And then I sneezed." As Ruby speaks the camera slowly pans showing the Schnee who was behind her. "YOU!" The Schnee yelled behind her causing the girl to jump into her sister's arms. "Oh god it's happening again!" Ruby said.

"You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff!" The Schnee yelled at the girl. "Oh my god you really exploded." Yang looked at Ruby wide eyed. "It was an accident! What's this?"

"The Schnee Dust Company is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustained while operating a Schnee Dust Company product. Although not mandatory, the Schnee Family highly encourages their costumers to read and familiarize themselves with this easy-to-follow guide to Dust application and practice in the field." Weiss said her voice somehow speeding up as she goes on. "Uhh"

"You really want to start making things up to me?" Weiss said glaring at Ruby. "Absolutely!" Ruby said before Weiss shoves the paper in her face. "Read this and never speak to me again." Weiss said.

"Look, uh...It sounds like you two just got off on the wrong foot, why don't you start over and try to be friends okay?" Yang said scratching her head. "Yeah! Great idea sis!" Ruby clears her throat. "Hello Weiss! I'm Ruby! Wanna hangout? We can go shopping for school supplies!"

"Yeah, and we can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys like tall, blonde, and scraggly over there!" Weiss said sarcastically pointing towards Jaune who was just standing there looking like not a single thought going through his head.

"Oh wow really?"

"No."

Then the sound of a microphone doing that annoying thing they do, then the students hear their headmaster start to speak. "I will keep this brief, you have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of people, but I look amongst you and all I see is wasted energy, a need of purpose, direction, you assume knowledge will free you of this but your time at this school prove that knowledge will only carry you so far...it is up to you to take the first step" Ozpin steps away and Glynda replaces his place. "You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed!"

"He seemed kind of off." Yang said turning to her sister. "Yeah I know right it almost felt like he wasn't even there." Rem said suddenly jumping into their conversation. "And you are?" Weiss said crossing her arms. "Oh yeah nice to meet you! I'm Rem, those over there are my friends. The one with the tiger ears is Riko, the emo looking one is Tomo, and the tall one over there is Y/n." Rem said gesturing towards her friend group. "Hey Rem! We gotta go!" Y/n yelled at her friend who nods at her. "Welp, I have to go now, hope we become friends eventually!" Rem said before jogging towards the others.

It was now night in Beacon Academy and all of the new students had gathered around the ballroom. "It's like a big slumber party!" Yang yelled crashing next to her sister who was writing something. "I don't think Dad would approved of all the boys though."

"I know I d-" Yang cut herself off when her eyes moved away from the mass amount of shirtless boys to Y/n who was talking with her friends. Y/n felt Yang's gayze on her and she looks towards her direction, Yang notices this and quickly looks away, her face turning into a shade of red. "What's that?" Yang asked glancing to the note Ruby was writing. "A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon. "Awh! That's so cute!" Yang said earning a pillow being thrown at her face by Ruby. "Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school. It's weird not knowing anyone here."

"What about Jaune? He's....nice! There you go! Plus one friend! That's a hundred percent increase!" "I'm pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend. Back to zero." "There's no such thing as negative friends! You just made one friend and one enemy!" Then Yang gets another pillow thrown at her. "Look it's only been one day trust me you got friends all around you. You just haven't met them yet."

Ruby sits up and she looks at a girl with black hair reading a book. "That girl..." "You know her?" "Not really...She saw what happened this morning but left before I could say anything"

"Well, now's your chance!" "Wait- wait! What are you doing!?" Ruby yelled as her sister started to drag her towards the mysterious girl.

"I wonder what's happening over there." Riko said pointing towards Ruby and Yang who were attempting to start a conversation. "That my friends are teenagers who don't have a fucking idea how interact with their peers." Tomo said. "Language." "Shut up."
