A/n: I decided to change this chapter mainly because I wasn't a big fan of the first version so here's a slightly better version

3rd Person POV

"Hey why don't you-" Yang was cut off by the faunus that faced her in the arena. "Hey! Why don't you-? That's what you sound like!" Neon mocked Yang. "Uh-" The faunus once again cuts of Yang. "Hey! Where'd you get your hair extensions?" She asked. "This is just my normal hair." Yang answered. "Ooh, really?" Neon tilted her head. "Yeah! Is that a prob-" Neon cuts Yang off once again. "You should try rollerblading sometime! It's super fun! It'd probably take you a while though, since you're so you know...top-heavy." Neon grins at Yang. "Excuse me?!" Yang angrily asked the girl. "Oh here we go." Ruby rolls her eyes as Y/n glared holes into Neon's head. "Three! Two! One! Begin!"

(Fight scene)

"Weiss!" Yang shouted, her eyes turning back to her usual lavender running over to her friend. "Weiss! Are you okay?" Yang asked her teammate who was covered in ash. "I may not be singing for a while." Weiss coughs and Yang sighs then smiles. "You know, I'm not sure that was the proper form." Yang told her. "Oh, ha ha-" Weiss coughs and Neon yells form the other side of the arena. "What?! We lost?! We lost?! Team FNKI lost?! That was...That was...amazing! Oh my gosh, you guys were super crazy awesome! We should definitely party together sometime! Right Flynt?" Neon turned to her teammate who was standing up behind her. "That was a gutsy move, Schnee. I dig it." He said standing up as Weiss and Yang's teammates walks towards the two. "Great job you two!" Blake said knelling next to the two. "Yeah!" Ruby exclaimed.

"I swear these stupid headaches keep getting worse." Y/n groaned walking away from RWBY's dorm and back to her own before she bumps into someone. "Shit, sorry about that." Y/n apologizes grabbing the person's hand before they could fall. "Oh hey, Mafuyu right?" Y/n said pulling the person up. "Yeah, also you're perfectly fine I should've looked at where I was walking." Mafuyu laughs rubbing the back of their head. "Wait a minute...I feel like I've seen you before." Y/n says squinting. "R-really? That's weird." Mafuyu chuckles kind of nervous. 

"Must be my imagination, whatever. You're gonna be in the singles fight right?" Y/n asked and the purple haired person nods. "Heh, well, if we ever fight each other make sure not to hold back, go it?" Y/n said about to walk back to her. "Same goes with you see you." They replied with a grin walking over to her dorm as Y/n waves at them.

"Now, for the moment you've been waiting for! The one on one finals!" Port announces as the crowed cheers. "Barty, why don't you explained the rules?" Port said turning to his co host. "Uhh, it's quite simple Peter. Instead of the bracket system, each round of the finals will be randomly determined immediately before the match takes place." Oobleck explained. "Much like any good hunt, there will be zero time to prepare." Port commented. "Now let's see who our match will be!" Oobleck announces as the the opponents were being randomly chose and it first lands on Y/n then on Mafuyu. "Y/n Morningstar and Mafuyu Akuma! Would all other combatants please leave the stage." Port said as the others leave with only Y/n and Mafuyu being left

"Well what a coincidence." Mafuyu smirks getting into a  stance same as Y/n who nods summoning her sword. "Three! Two! One! Begin!" Port says before Y/n quickly teleports behind Mafuyu trying to kick their feet but they quickly jump away. "Oldest trick in the book." They mumbled rushing towards Y/n going in for the punch but Y/n dodges before kicking them in the stomach pushing them back a bit. They chuckle a bit before disappearing causing a confused look formed on her face, she looked around her and she saw something behind her. She quickly turns around and a look of horror quickly replaces her confused one.
