3rd Person POV

"Your highness! Welcome back!" One of the guards near the gate of the kingdom said spotting Y/n walking, the girl glances at them nodding before walking past the gates. "You do realize that we could've just teleported here right?" Artemis said floating next to Y/n in a form of a small dragon, only making themselves visible only to the girl who pauses quickly before continuing walking. "And remind me about that now?" Y/n quietly groans giving her frenemy a side eye as a few other demons watched her walk, some of them even bowing.

The girl finally arrives to the gates of the castle attempting to walking past them only to be blocked by two guards. "Only authorized individuals or people apart of the family can enter, and as far as I can see, you are neither." The guard on the left said looking down at Y/n who raises her eyebrow. "I'm sorry what did you just say?" She asked and the man scoffs. "I said you-." He was quickly cut off by another man stepping in. "Your highness I apologize for these idiots behavior they're new." The man said opening the gate for Y/n and the girl walks through it. "I can put them in the dungeon for disrespecting you, your highness." The man stood up straight with the two men behind him shivering as Y/n turns to looks at them. "Let them be, just let them know that I won't be so nice next time." She said turning back around and entering the castle.

"Ms. Y/n! Welcome back." Lia said holding a basket and bowing. "No need to bow Lia." Y/n smiles. "Oh by the way can you wash my clothes for me?" She continued drawing a circle in the air taking her clothes off her body leaving her in a white dress shirt and black pants with her clothes in her hand. "Of course miss." The maid walks up to her grabbing the clothes, putting them in the basket before turning around to walk away. "Oh right Lia?" Y/n calls for the woman who turns around and tilts her head at her. "Where are my moms? I wanna talk with them." She asked. "Oh they're in their bedroom." Lia answers and Y/n's eyes widen. "Don't tell me they're..." She said as the maid chuckles and nods her head. "But I can assure you Miss that you aren't getting a little sibling." The maid smiles. "Well whatever, I'll be in my room." Y/n said starting to walk over to her room and the maid nods. "Also Lia, just call me Y/n no need to call me Miss anymore." She said giving a quick glance at Lia before walking in her room.

Ruby slowly wakes up from her slumber, seeing her father sitting in a chair next to her, she sits up and let's out a sigh making her father jolt awake. "Ruby!" Taiyang said walking towards his daughter. "You're awake!" He said gladly. "What happened?" The girl asked the man who sighs. "Your uncle Qrow found you, unconscious. He got ya outta there though; he brought you home safe" He told her. "Wait! Yang! is she alright?" Ruby asked another question. "Uh...she's uh...she's gonna be alright, I think she's just...I think it's just gonna take some time for her to get used to things, she's too strong to let this stop her...I'm just glad to have my girls back at home" Tai explained. 

"What happened to the school! And vale! Were they able to clear out the grimm?" Ruby asked worried. "Things at vale are under control but the school? It's...it's not that simple. That thing, whatever it is, doesn't seem to be dead. Don't get me wrong, you did a number on it. But it's not disappearing. it's...kind of...frozen. I know that doesn't sound too bad but it keeps attracting more grimm to the school." He told his daughter. "I did what?" Tai hums at his daughter. "You said I did a number on it, what do you mean?" She asked. "I...look that's not important right now, we can talk about it later. Things are just...kind of mess." Tai finishes before Qrow spoke behind him. "Things are always a mess. Mind if have a minute?" Qrow said taking a sip our of his canister. "What I can't stay here?" Tai gave the man a look. "Tai please..." The man reluctantly stands up before leaning to his daughter and giving her a kiss. "I'm glad you're alright. I'll make us some tea." He said glaring at Qrow before walking out.

"Oh jeez I don't remember your room looking like shit." Artemis said transforming back into a human leaning on the desk in Y/n's room. "I am aware of that." Y/n said picking up a picture frame with a photo of her and a girl who had their face crossed out. Y/n scoffs taking the photo out burning it in her hand and replacing it with one of her with Blake and Yang. "How cute." Artemis looked over Y/n's shoulder. "Shut it." She glared trying to push them away and their hand goes through them again making her groan. 

"Ooooo, what's this?" They said teleporting to one of the posters. "That's a poster of Kate Bishop signed by Hailee Steinfeld herself, do not fucking touch it." Y/n glared walking to her desk and picking up a random piece of paper. "Oh wow, I should probably finish making this." She looked at in making Artemis teleporting next to her. "What's that?" They asked. "It's a blueprint for a thing I wanted to make." She said. "Cool." They replied before teleporting onto Y/n's bed. "Get off my bed, you're gonna be on the couch." Y/n looked at them pointing to the couch in the corner of her room. 

Then there was a knock on the door. "It's open!" Y/n yelled taking another photo frame from her bedside table taking the photo of her ex out as the door opened revealing her mom, Lilith, who's eyes go wide and immediately goes in to hug her. "Thank satan you're fine." The succubus said. "Of course I'm fine mom." Y/n smiled returning the hug, Lilith pulls away from the hug and looks at her daughter before her eyes looks over to her neck. "Is that a hickey?" She asked causing Y/n to jump and cover the mark. "Oh yeah I forgot about that. It's a gift from my girlfriend." She blushed. "You have a girlfriend!? And you didn't tell me?" Her mother said wide eyed. "Did other mom not tell you?" Y/n tilted her head. "Fucking Lucifer...I'll be back sweetie." Lilith kisses her cheek before walking out of the room. "Well definitely tonight's gonna be loud." Y/n mumbled putting a different photo of her with Blake and Yang.

Y/n sighs and smiles sadly looking at the frame before putting it back on the table. She turns around and walks towards the door. "And where are you going missy?" Artemis crosses their arms. "I'm going to my lab and you will stay here." Y/n pointed at them before closing the door.
