3rd Person POV

"If we expect the unexpected, does the unexpected become expected?" Rem said as she walked in front of her friends towards the cafeteria. "Okay who gave her drugs?" Tomo whispered to Riko and Y/n who were walking beside him. "This is normal, I thought you would be used to it at this point." Y/n said oblivious to the the student that was thrown at the window of the cafeteria. "Is cereal a soup?" Rem mumbled but the others could hear her as they opened the cafeteria doors seeing a whole ass food fight go on.

"Oh what the hell is going on here?" Tomo said while looking at the scene. "I love these guys." Sun said turning to a boy next to him. "Now when the hell did you get here?" Y/n asked. "Oh hey n/n!" Sun smiled. "Ew, never call me that again." Y/n looked at the boy with slight disgust as Glynda barges into the cafeteria, fixing all the mess RWBY and JNPR made. "Children please...do not play with your food." Glynda said while fixing her glasses. 

"Let it go." Ozpin said putting a hand on Glynda's shoulder. "They're supposed to be the defenders of the world." The blonde grumbled. "They will, but right now they're still children. So why not let them play the part?" He replied before starting to walk away. "After all it isn't a role they'll have forever." He said while walking out of the cafeteria.

"Alright, Yang Xiao Long prepare your kingdom for battle!" Ruby said pointing towards her sister. "Bring it on!" She shouted back. "the Atlesian Air Fleet!" Yang gasps. "Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai. and attack your walls directly!" Ruby said imitating an airplane with her hands. "You fiend!" The blonde said. "Since Atlas is a part of Mantle my repair time only lasts one turn." Ruby grins making Yang laugh. "Pretty sneaky sis, but you just activated my trap card!" "Whaaaaa?" Ruby gasps. "Giant Nevermore! If I roll a seven or higher Fatal Feathers will slice your fleet in two." Yang said while Weiss looked extremely confused. "But if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces." Ruby pointed at her sister. "That's just a chance I'm willing to take."

"Watching them play reminds me when we used to play DnD." Y/n said watching the team play. "Yeah but less fighting and less...demonic magic." Tomo mumbled the last part trying to get  Y/n to not hear them. "Hey! I just wanted to make it realistic." Y/n said crossing her arms. "By summoning demons to my house? Practically destroying my sister's garage?" Riko raised an eyebrow glaring at Y/n making the girl gulp. "Okay well when you put it  that way maybe it was a bad idea. Especially because how your sister reacted." Y/n shivered at the memory.

"I hate this game of emotions we play!" Weiss cried making Y/n look back at the group. "Stay strong Weiss. We'll make it through this together." Ruby said while jumping into her arms. "Shut up! Don't touch me!" Weiss said putting her arms around Ruby. "Alright Blake, you're up!" Yang said turning towards the spaced out Blake. "Huh? Oh! Umm...sorry what am I doing?" She asked. "You're playing as Vale trying to conquer the kingdoms of Remnant!" Yang explained. "Right..."

"Hey can I play?" Jaune asked walking over to the team's table. "Sorry Jaune we've already got four people." Ruby apologetically said to Jaune. "Besides this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt you possess." Weiss told Jaune. "Uh, you attacked your own navel fleet two turns ago." Yang said making Rem snicker. "Bring it on ice queen! I'll have you know that I've been told that I'm a natural born leader!" Jaune smugly said. "Yeah by like one person." Y/n said from the other table, Tomo glared at her before hitting her with a book.

"And Pyrrha!" Jaune retorted. "Hello again!" Pyrrha joyfully said from behind. "C'mon let me play your hand for a turn." The boy begged. "I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo!"

"Why not?! You've trusted me with way more important stuff before! I mean you told us all that Blake is secretly a fau-" Jaune was cut off by Pyrrha standing up from her seat and run over to Jaune to cover his mouth. "Fun-loving person whom we all admire and respect." Pyrrha interrupted as they all look towards Blake who was glaring at them. "Right...that. Ladies...enjoy your battle." Jaune said while bowing.

"Sup losers?" A voice said approaching them. "Oh god not this bitch..." Tomo grumbled making Y/n elbow them. "Hey  Sun!" Ruby said with a smile. Ruby, Yang, Blake, Y/n, Ice Queen..." 

"Why does everyone keep calling me that?!" Weiss yelled. "I never got the chance to formally introduced you to my old friend." Sun said. "Uh...aren't libraries for reading?" The blue haired boy next to Sun said. "Thank you!" Ren said from a distance. "Shut up you nerd!" Rem said from another table. "Intellectual, Okay, Thank you. I'm Neptune." 

"So Neptune where are you from?" Weiss asked. "Haven, and I don't believe I've caught your name snow angel." Neptune said walking over to Weiss. "Gross." Y/n mumbled and her team nodded in agreement.  "Um...I'm Weiss." Weiss said.

"Are you kidding me!?" Jaune yelled. "Pleasure to meet you." Neptune said. "I never took you as the board-game-playing type!" Sun said standing next to Blake. "Right, well I think I'm done playing actually. I'll see you guys later." Blake said standing up form her chair and walking away. "And my sister needs something from me so I need to go too, see you guys later I guess." Y/n said before disappearing. "Does she always do that?" Neptune asked. "You get used to it." Riko replied getting up from her chair before walking away with Rem and Tomo walking behind her. "We have to go to, have fun everyone!" Rem waved at them with a smile.

"God why did Akari need that anyway? It's not like she has a girlfriend. Well...unless, nevermind, atleast I got a cool hoverboard-." Y/n was cut off when she accidently bumped into someone making them fall. "Oh shit sorry I wasn't paying attention." Y/n said extending a hand out. "No no, you're fine." The person grabs Y/n's hand and she feels a weird sensation run through her arm.

"Wait are you new here?" Y/n asked not recognizing the person's face. "Visiting from Haven. I'm Mafuyu Akuma, nice to meet you." They said smiling. "Uh, Y/n Morningstar, so what are you doing around here?" Y/n asked. "Just looking for some friends that's reminds me, I have to go see you around Morningstar!" Mafuyu said while waving at Y/n. "C'ya." Y/n said before making her back to her dorm.

As the person walks away Mafuyu smirks as they walk past Y/n while there was a purple glow coming from the girl's wrist, and Mafuyu's eyes glow purple. "This is gonna be fun." They said while smirking.
