𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥

(A small 3 part series mainly about Y/n's alter ego:)

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟏: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐞

It's been seven years...sever years since the incident, and it's clear that it hasn't left the now fifteen year old Y/n's mind ever since. She still constantly gets nightmares about it, thinking about what she should've done. If she was stronger...would she have been able to save her sister? Or would the same thing happen. What  if it was her instead? That voice in the back of her head still haunts her and hadn't gone away. It's just there...taunting her.

As for now, the girl is currently roaming the massive castle library looking for something that looked like a somewhat interesting read that's when she spotted something strange. It was a book that sat on a shelf looking a bit out of place and of course out curiosity she picks it up.

She inspects the book in her hand for a moment before shrugging, she then leaves the library, book in hand. She enters her room and she immediately sits on her desk. Once again, she inspects the book noticing the unfamiliar text written on the back. "Weird." She mumbles before opening the book, she suddenly feels something like a burst of energy run through her body, she jumps slightly before shaking it off and continues to observe the book.

"Ah, it's good to be back..." A voice said behind her, she jumps again turning around and sees nothing. Yes the thought of a strange voice talking to her isn't something she isn't aware of but this one...was different. "So you're the one who opened the book? Interesting." That voice continued. "What the hell?" She mumbles, then her heads suddenly starts to hurt. "Hey, you seem interesting. How about the two of us make a contract?" Even though the speaker wasn't visible, Y/n could tell that the voice had a grin on their face.

"A contract...?" Y/n sounded a tad but intrigued. "You become my host, and in return I can make you stronger. You can even be strong enough to get revenge for your sister." At the mention of the last part, the girl perks up. "Deal." She said with no hesitation, in response the voice chuckles before saying. "That's great, you won't regret this." That's when a mask appears on her face. She panics when she feels the headwear on her face and struggles to take it off. "I'm gonna have so much fun with you." She heard the voice say.

"Hey Y/n, do you by any chance, like anyone?" Y/n raised an eyebrow looking at the girl next to her. "W-well I do, why's that?" Y/n said with a blush as Krista's shoulders slump. "Oh, it's just that...I like someone but the thing is that I don't know if she likes me back." The girl mumbles. "Well I say just take the risk and make the first move." Y/n shrugs as Krista responds with a nod.

"Anyway about the quiz on Friday can you-" Y/n's question was cut off by lips making contact with hers, her eyes widen before she closes them and starts kissing back. The two pull away and Y/n's face was beet red, same as Krista's.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have done that I'm so sorry if I-" Krista's ramble was cut off by a short kiss from Y/n. "Don't worry, I like you too." She said with a smile. "Anyway about that quiz..."

"Hey Krista! Thanks for the help on the quiz!" Y/n jogged over to the girl, the girl jumps slightly before realizing who it was then a small smile. "Oh hey Y/n, you're welcome." Krista said as Y/n leaned down to give the girl a kiss on the cheek. "Anyway I was wondering if we could hang out later?" Y/n chuckled rubbing the back of her head.

"Oh? Is the infamous Y/n Morningstar asking me on a date?" Y/n blushes at the girl's statement. Before she could respond she heard her scroll ping in her pocket, she pulls it out and groans seeing what it had said. "Ah shit, I'm sorry I can't make it today how about I make it up to you tomorrow?" Y/n said with shoulders slumped. "Don't worry I don't mind, just go on and do what you're supposed to do." Krista replied giving Y/n a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later." Y/n smiled before running off.

Several hours later Y/n enters her bedroom looking exhausted. She immediately walks over to her bed and collapsing onto it letting out a sigh of comfort. Her peace was cut short however when her scroll began to ring, she pulls it out of her pocket seeing a random number. The girl rolls her eyes before deciding to pick it up. "Hello?" She said attempting to hide the annoyance. "Hello is this Y/n Morningstar?" The person on the line said. "Yes it is. Is there anything you need?" She responds. "Yes yes, this is Vale Hospital, we would like to inform to about something that happened to a Krista Reiss." Y/n's eyes go wide at the mention of the girl's name.

"Krista!" Y/n exclaimed opening the door to the hospital room, her eyes go wide seeing her girlfriend laid in the hospital looking....not great. She quickly rushes next to her panic being present on her face. "Oh, hey there Y/n..." Krista said with a tired smile. "What happened?" Y/n said with tears starting to form in her eyes. "I was attacked...and I think I'm not gonna make it."

"Hey hey don't say that, y-you're not gonna die...you can't..." That's when Y/n started sobbing. "I'm sorry, but this might must be fate. But can you please promise me one thing?" Krista put her hand on Y/n's cheek as the girl nods. "Promise me you'll find someone who can love you more than I wish I could've had." She said, wiping the tears off Y/n face.

"Who the hell are you?! Crazy bitch!" The man yelled as a person towered over them wearing a mask, the person looks down at them with a devilish grin before laughing. "Y'know just a bit of advice maybe you ahould think twice before beating an innocent girl." She kicked the man in the stomach. "Oh that blondie?! She deserved it! I mean she wouldn't let me and my friend-" The man was cut off by a kick to the face. "Shut it!" The person yells at him.

"Hm now what should I do with you." They mumble before they feel something penetrating their leg, they look down and see the man holding a knife that had stabbed their leg. They scoff in response before kicking the man then taking the blade out of their leg. They slowly walk towards the man before picking him up by his head.

"I thought I could do something interesting. But I guess this will do." Theh said before grinning as the man's eyes rolled to the back of his head then black smoke came out of his eyes and mouth. The person laughs with a grin on their face before they throw him to the ground. "Oh that was fun!" They laughed walking around the warehouse looking at all the dead bodies. "I should do this more often. Surprisingly it really calms the nerves." They smiled before taking the mask off revealing Y/n. "I should probably deal with the bodies....eh nevermind, maybe I should get a bite to eat before going home." Y/n yawns putting the mask in her pocket.

"Y/n? You're home awfully late." Y/n jumps as she was shutting the door looking behind her seeing Lilith. "Oh mother, yeah the others wanted to hang out and I kind of lost track of time." Y/n lied as she takes her shoes off while Lilith raises an eyebrow at her with crossed arms. "Uh huh...Well just go to bed it's 1am." Y/n nods at her mother before quickly making her way to her bedroom.
