3rd Person POV

"And that's the match." Glynda said walking past a beaten up Cardin. "Lucky shot." Cardin groaned before passing out. "Well done miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament." The woman said. "Thank you professor." Pyrrha responds. "Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers?" Glynda asked looking at the students then she looked at Blake. "Miss Belladonna? You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you-" Glynda was cut off by a gray haired boy raising his hand.

"I'll do it." He said. "Mercury is it? Very well let's find you an opponent." Glynda said while fixing her glasses. "Actually, I wanna fight...her." Mercury said as he pointed towards Y/n. "And I thought I could get out of this class without doing anything." She mumbles. "Ms. Morningstar?" Glynda asked the girl. "Yeah yeah I'll do it." Y/n replied while getting up from her seat and teleporting down to the arena.

Mercury gets into his stance while Y/n just stands there staring at him. A few seconds later he charges on her he attempts to punch her but Y/n turns into dust. "Huh?" He said confused. "Too slow." A voice said behind him before he gets punched in the back of the head knocking him to the floor making Y/n look down at him. "Is that all your got Uranus?" She taunted with a smirk, in response Mercury glares at doing the girl before flipping away from her. 

"How flashy." Y/n mumbled quickly summoning her sword while Mercury charge towards her. He tries to kick her head but she blocked it with her sword before disappearing again. "Are you actually gonna fight or are you gonna keep disappearing like a coward." Mercury said looking around for his opponent. "I can assure you that I'm not a coward." Y/n whispered into his ear before he gets kicked in the stomach knocking him back a few feet before teleporting to him again.

"Not anymore atleast." She said before kicking him the head knocking him back once again but before he could fall red ropes wrap around him. "You know maybe I did underestimate my strength." She mumbled before getting kicked in the gut, she glared at Mercury then smirked at the idea that popped into her head.

She snaps her fingers and the arena turns dark for Mercury and multiple clones of Y/n start to attack him. He manages to destroy all of them but when his back was turned someone had punch him in the back before he got tied up in ropes again. "I forfeit." He said as Y/n stopped right in front of him with her blade a few inches away for his neck. "What? Just like that?" Y/n questioned tilting her head a bit suspicious. 

"What's the point? You're the strongest huntress' little sister, it's obvious that we're leagues apart." He said shrugging while in the ropes. "In that case, Y/n Morningstar is the victor of the match." Glynda announces as Y/n groans. "Ugh, how boring." She said throwing her sword in the air making it disappear and reappear on her back, snapping her fingers making the ropes wrapped around Mercury turns to ash.

"Next time you may want to think a little harder before choosing an opponent." Glynda told the boy. "I'll be sure to do that." He replied walking away while Y/n teleports back to her team. "That is all for today. And remember the dance is this weekend, but you all have your first mission on Monday." Glynda said while students start to exit the arena.

"Shit I forgot to get an outfit for the dance..." Y/n said as she walked with her teammates. "We'll go get you one later." Tomo said looking at their scroll on their hand. "Okay parent-" Y/n was about to finish what she was about to say but was cut off. "Don't finish that fucking sentence Morningstar." He said while glaring at her.

(That was a dogshit fight scene lol)

"Hey Blake! You uh, doing okay?" Sun said catching up with Blake who was reading a book. "I'm fine." Blake said looking at Sun. "So I hear there's this dance going on this weekend sounds pretty lame but are you planning to ask them out?" Sun asked and Blake looks at him with  a confused look. "Ask who out?"

"Y'know they're like 5'8 ish, h/c hair, e/c eyes, kind of a loner until you get to know them and just so happen to be passing by us right now." Sun said pointing at Y/n who was talking with her friends, Blake instantly blushes. "S-she doesn't like me like that." She said looking away. "Oh but she does! Have you not noticed how she how she looks at you?! She totally likes you!" He whisper yelled at her. "Whatever, I don't care about this stupid dance anyway." She said before walking away past her team. "Godamnit Sun you failed as a wingman." Sun said to himself before walking away.

Y/n was once again wandering around the halls when she passes by RWBY's dorm. "I'll be in the library." The muffled voice of Blake's said before the door opened revealing no one other than Blake who freezes once her eyes meet with Y/n's. "Hey Blake." Y/n said with a smile while Blake closed the door. "H-hi" She stutters. "You okay? You uh- how do I say this in the nicest way possible...You don't look that great." Y/n said. "I'm fine." Blake said before walking away but Y/n stops her by grabbing her hand. "Also isn't it a bit late to be in the library?" Y/n asked Blake's face turns red at the contact with Y/n's hand. "Oh shit sorry." Y/n said letting go of Blake hand which made the girl kind of sad for some reason, Y/n's hand felt so warm and it felt like she was safe.

"Blake? Blakeeeeee?" Y/n waved a hand over Blake snaps out of her trance. "What did you say?" Blake asked. "I said that even though we aren't that close we're still friends and I'm worried about you, just don't stay too long at the library okay?" She said giving Blake a warm smile. "Yeah...got it." Blake smiled at her. "Also uhm, would you wanna go to the dance we me? If you don't wanna come it's totally fine." Y/n nervously said rubbing the back of her neck looking off to the side. "U-uhm, I'll think about it okay?" Blake said before walking away. 

"And where have you been." Tomo crossed his arms looking at Y/n who just walked in the dorm. "Y'know, just wandering around had a quick talk with Blake, the usual." She said drawing a circle in the air making her clothes change into her normal ones. "Wait you actually had a normal conversation with a girl you like? Wow, that's an achievement." Rem said eating popcorn while watching a romcom with Riko. "Oh quiet you." Y/n said hopping on her bed opening her scroll and play a random video game she had.

Well she was about to play it until there was a knock at the door. "Who the hell..." Tomo said walking over to the door and opening it. "Hey guys!" Yang smiled while leaning on the doorframe. "Ugh, Y/n it's your turn to interact with the people who come by our dorm!" Tomo yelled before walking away and taking a seat next to Rem and Riko to watch the romcom. Y/n groans and stands up from her bed and walks over to the door. "Hey Yang what's up?" Y/n asked. "Hey Y/n just the person I needed, so I was just wondering, you can like make things float with your semblance or whatever right?" Yang asked and Y/n nods at her. "Great so another question, are you free tomorrow? Me and the others need some help with decorating for the dance." Yang asked a second question. 

"Uh yeah I'm free and I'm willing to help." Y/n told the blonde putting her hands in her pajama pockets. "Great you're also gonna help me try to get Blake to go to the dance okay byeeeeeeee!" Yang said leaving. "Wait what did you say?!" Y/n yelled. "Byeeeeeeee!" Yang yelled back.
