Lord Andrew Charles Howard is excited that Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell is willing to see him out Madame's Boarding House in Bedford Territory.

Lord Charles Andrew JR reminds his son, Lord Andrew Charles and he tells him "Remember to conduct yourself like a respectable and decent gentleman and don't bring our family to shame." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.

"We don't want the United Federation of Planets to come in and appoint Star Base 12 a governor." Lord Charles Andrew JR reminds his son.

"Mademoiselle Karissa Lowell is not an aristocrat, and she doesn't have to follow our rules. She is a free woman to choose whoever she wants to marry." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.

"I have given you that option because your other brothers have failed to produce a child, but you have a limited amount of time and it better produce results as I am already talking with Lord Churchill and Lord Bourbon and they both have daughters your age." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his youngest son.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at his father "I won't marry either of those two wenches. I remain a bachelor and I will go to Star Base 10 as Lady Charlotte Augusta told me that I am welcome to live with Lord David Frederick and her." Lord Andrew Charles explains.

"I will not enter this preposterous marriage game of yours, father." Lord Andrew Charles states and he bows and walks away.

Lord Andrew Charles deplores the ancient marriage rites where the father decides who his children are going to marry each other.

Lord Andrew Charles climbs into his carriage and sets off for Bedford Territory and he rides through the streets of Norfolk Territory. The townspeople gather in the streets to catch a glimpse of their Duke's youngest son as he heads for Bedford Territory, and he waves to the people. Lord Andrew Charles is the favorite son of Norfolk Territory.

Lord Richard William Carey meets Lord Andrew Charles at the border between Norfolk and Bedford Territory

Lord Andrew Charles greets his second cousin twice removed and he thanks him for intervening on his behalf but Lord Richard Wlliam Carey tells Lord Andrew Charles "Lord Andrew Charles. Mademoiselle Karissa has agreed to see you once and it is up to her to continue to see you."

"What do you know about Mademoiselle Karissa?" Lord Andrew Charles asks his cousin, Lord Richard William.

"I will tell you that she is no one to trifle with." Lord Richard William tells Lord Andrew Charles "She is not one of these silly, vain, aristocratic daughters here on Star Base 12."

"I think you need to ask Mademoiselle Karissa about herself, don't pry too much." Lord Richard William tells Lord Andrew Charles.

They proceed to Madame's Boarding House for Lord Richard William to introduce his cousin, Lord Andrew Charles Howard to meet Mademoiselle Karissa.

The two carriages finally arrive at Madame Boarding House and Madame Valois comes out to greet Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Andrew Charles and she curtsy to them "Bonjour Lord Carey and Lord Howard." Madame Valois tells them.

"Bonjour Madame Valois. We are here to see Mademoiselle Karissa." Lord Richard William tells Madame Valois.

"Mademoiselle Karissa is waiting in the parlor for both of you. Now Monsieur Howard. I expect you to be on your best behavior. I will be forced to contact your father, The Duke of Norfolk Territory." Madame explains.

Madame Valois walks both Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Andrew Charles into the parlor where Karissa is sitting with Lady Isabella and Josette Collins.
