Once the officers of The USS Enterprise beam back on-board Captain James T Kirk announces that he is taking his shore-leave and Star Fleet Command has given him three weeks of shore-leave as he is the commanding officer of The USS Enterprise.
Captain James T Kirk leaves the Enterprise in the hands of Mr. Spock who is also a Lt. Commander and Science Officer at the helm.

Mr. Spock is half-Vulcan and Half- human as his mother, Amanda Grayson was a human and his father, Sarek was a Vulcan, and his father was the ambassador to Vulcan for The United Federation of Planets and his mother, Amanda was a professor when they met each other.
Sarek was once married before to a Vulcan Princess and he had an elder son, Sybok was the firstborn son of the Vulcan ambassador Sarek and a Vulcan princess in the 23rd century and was the elder half-brother of Starfleet officer Spock. Sybok was a revolutionary, who sought experience and knowledge that were forbidden by Vulcan beliefs.

Jim Kirk is still good looking at the age of 50 years old in 2285 and Lady Karissa is 30 years old when they meet again, and Lord Andrew Charles is 35 years old, and he is surprised to see that they have two more children, Lord Albert Edward and Lady Anastasia Christina.
