The I Love You - I Hate You Marriage
They say opposites attract, but I wonder sometimes if that is true or not.
Lord Andrew Charles Howard, Duke of Norfolk Territory and Viscount Fairfax is married to Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann, Marchioness of Pembroke Territory and Viscountess Fairfax, but they have a I love you-I hate your marriage.
There isn't a day that Lady Karissa doesn't throw him an insult at Lord Andrew Charles by calling a dirty name, but despite it he still loves her, and he calls a shrew.
Lady Karissa just looks at Lord Andrew Charles and laughs at him "If I am shrewd? What does that make you?"
"I didn't ask you to pursue me in the first place." Lady Karissa tells him "I wonder if you have any brains in that thick aristocratic head of yours."
"What happened- when they said they passed out brains. You thought they said trains and you missed yours." Lady Karissa says with a laugh "It's too late to chase them."
"I don't care here to hear your insults, Madame." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"It's Madame Bitch to you, Lord Preppy." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I am Duke of Norfolk Territory. Do I have to remind you- Lady Karissa?" Lord Andrew Charles asks her.
"You never let anyone forget that you are the high and mighty Duke of Norfolk Territory." Lady Karissa tells him "Let me remind you that I am Marchioness of Pembroke Territory, Duchess of Norfolk Territory and Viscountess Fairfax Territory."
"I am the mother of your father's covenant Princess Royal." Lady Karissa states "I have sole custody, guardianship and control of her until she is 18 years old."
"Your own father knows that our marriage is a sham, Lord Preppy." Lady Karissa states.
"I wonder if I can get an annulment on the grounds that our marriage is a sham." Lady Karissa states.
"You wouldn't dare." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
'Oh! I wouldn't huh?" Try me Lord Preppy." Lady Karissa retorts.
"I raised you to your position and you will be like Humpy Dumpty that took a big fall and even all kings men can't put you back together again." Lady Karissa tells him.
"You are insufferable." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"There is the damn door, Andrew Charles and don't let it hit on your aristocratic ass on the way out." Lady Karissa tells him.
Lord Andrew Charles doesn't leave, and he looks at Lady Karissa and asks her "Are you busy this evening?"
"Why do you ask?" Lady Karissa asks.
"I thought we might make love to each other tonight." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"What you want to have sex?" Lady Karissa asks him.
"No. I asked that we make love." Lord Andrew Charles.
"What you call making love is not making love, but it is high school sex." Lady Karissa answers him.
"When you make what you call making love is about as exciting as making love to a rattle-snake." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I regard both you are deadly and venomous." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Which one of you that has more charm is a matter of debate." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I didn't come here to exchange verbal insults with you, Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"I know I have a sharper tongue than you will ever have, and I can out do you and outwit you, Duke, Viscount, Lord Preppy Andrew Charles Howard." Lady Karissa tells him.
"You never answered my question." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
"I told myself since I married your aristocratic ass that I would never refuse you sex." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Better than I take care of your sexual needs rather than some cheap whore at the local brothel." Lady Karissa states.
"I don't frequent those cheap brothels. I can have any woman on Star Base 12 because I am Duke of Norfolk Territory and Viscount Fairfax." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"I wouldn't give you to my worst enemy as you would disappoint them in the bedroom." Lady Karissa tells him.
"When you come, make it quick and swift." Lady Karissa tells him."
"So, it is a date?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"It's a date." Lady Karissa tells him and Lord Andrew Charles smiles, "The last time we made love is when Lady Elizabeth was conceived in July of 2274."
"Don't remind me of my mistakes, Lord Andrew Charles. I love Lady Elizabeth and she is the only reason I married you." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I don't think our marriage was a mistake." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"You are entitled to your opinion, and I am entitled to mine." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I had wished that Lady Elizabeth had been Lord Charles Andrew III's child, but damn, Lord David told me your sperm swam fast." Lady Karissa states.
"My damn brother is infertile. He has been married for 24 years." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Don't second guess, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III as he might still sire a child." Lady Karissa tells him.
In fact, that much is true as Lady Victoria, his wife, is two months pregnant with their first child in August of 2276.
No one in the Howard family knows about Lady Victoria's pregnancy as she has told no one.
The only pregnancy is that of Lady Suzanne Howard, the wife of Lord Richard Edward Howard II and their child is due in April of 2276.
The second time that Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa come together is in mid-January of 2276 and although they have a I love you- I hate your marriage.
They know their duty towards the Howard family just as Lord Charles Andrew JR and Lady Patricia did and it is only when it is time to have another child.
Lord Andrew Charles isn't amused with the mistresses that he chooses, and he grows bored with them.
When he does, he turns to Lady Karissa, and he seems happy enough to be with her even if it is for duty's sake.
