Lord Roger Grey can trace his ancestry back to the 12th century and his family always fought for their King.

Reynold Grey, 2nd Baron Grey of Ruthin and he married Alianore and they had Reynold Grey, 3rd Baron Grey of Ruthin who married twice and with his first wife, Margaret de Ros: They were the father and mother to Sir John Grey who married Lady Constance Holland and they were the parents of Edmund Grey, 1st Earl of Kent and he succeed his grandfather, and he married Lady Katherine Percy, and they had Sir George Grey that married Lady Anne Woodville and they had a single son, Richard Grey, 3rd Earl of Kent and with his second wife, Lady Catherine Herbert they were the parents of Lord Henry Grey whose grandparents were Lord William Herbert and Lady Ann Devereux and who married Anne Blennerhassett and they had three sons, but it was Lord Charles Grey who married Lady Susan Cotton and they had Henry Grey, 8th Earl of Kent and he left no children so it went back to his nearest male relative, Anthony Grey, 9th Earl of Kent and who was the son of Sir George Grey and his wife, Margery Salvaine who was the son of Sir Anthony Grey of Brancepeth who was the son of Sir George Grey and Lady Catherine Hebert and he was a younger son of Sir George Grey.

Sir Reynolds Grey married a second time to Joan de Astley, and they had a son, Sir Edward Grey who married Elizabeth Ferrers, 6th Baroness Ferrers of Groby and they had Sir John Grey who married Lady Elizabeth Woodville who had with Sir John Grey and they had Sir Thomas Grey, 1st Marquess of Dorset and Lady Elizabeth Woodville married a second time to King Edward IV of England and she was the mother to Queen Elizabeth of York who was the mother of King Henry VIII and grandmother of the greatest Queen of England, Elizabeth the First of England who was the great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk through the matrilineal line of his son, Lord Thomas Howard and his first wife, Lady Elizabeth Tinley and their daughter, Lad Elizabeth Howard who married Sir Thomas Boleyn and their daughter, Queen Anne Boleyn.

Sir Thomas Grey married Cecily Bonville, 7th Baroness Harington and they seven children but it was their son, Thomas Grey, 2nd Marquess of Dorset whose son was Sir Henry Grey and he married Lady Frances Brandon, the granddaughter of King Henry VII of England and they had three daughters, Lady Jane Grey, the nine-day Queen of England, Lady Katherine Grey who married Lord Edward Seymour and Lady Mary Grey.

Lady Mary Grey who married Sir Walter Devereux who was the son of John Devereux, 9th Baron Ferrers of Chatley and his wife, Anne Ferrers and they were grandparents of Richard Devereux who married Lady Anne Dorothea Hastings and they had a son, Sir Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex who married Lady Lettice Knollys who was the daughter of Lady Katherine Carey and Sir Francis Knollys and Lady Katherine Carey was the eldest daughter of Lady Mary Boleyn and Sir William Carey, and with his second wife, Margaret Garneys and they had a son, Lord Edward Grey and he married Katherine Arden and they had a son, Walter Devereux, 5th Viscount Hereford who married Elizabeth Knightley and they had son, Leicester Devereux, 6th Viscount Hereford who married Elizabeth Withipoll and they had Leicester Devereux, 7th Viscount Hereford but he left no issue so it passed onto a distant cousin,

Price Devereux, 9th Viscount Hereford who was the grandson of Sir George Devereux who was a younger son of Sir Edward Devereux, 1st Baronet of Castle Bromwich and his wife, Katherine Arden.

Lord Roger Grey marries Lady Dorothea Hastings and they had two children, Lord Richard Grey and Lord Reginald Grey, but it from Lord Reginald Grey and his marriage to Lady Elizabeth Plantagenet through their son, Lord John Grey and Lady Anne Neville that Lord Henry Grey, Duke of Suffolk Territory comes from, and he marries Lady Georgette Spencer, and they have three daughter, Lady Catherine Georgette Grey, Lady Mary Henrietta Grey and Lady Elizabeth Ann Grey.

Two of Lord Henry Grey's daughters marry into two of the most prominent families on Star Base 12 and Lady Catherine marries Lord Timothy Christopher Beck and Lady Mary Henrietta Grey marries Lord Frederick William Howard III the great-grandson of Lord Patrick William Howard, the first Duke of Norfolk Territory.

Lady Elizabeth Ann Grey marries the son of Lord John Edward Seymour and Lady Josette Collins, son, Lord Edward Seymour and they have a son, Lord Thomas Seymour who marries Lady Alberta Edwina Howard who is the great-great-granddaughter of Lord Albert Edward Howard and Lady Henrietta Bourbon.

Lady Alberta Edwina Howard is the great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord Andrew Charles Howard and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard-Carey nee Lowell.

The Dukedom of Suffolk Territory passed onto the descendants of Lord David Edward Christopher Beck and Lady Anne Devereux through their youngest son, Lord David Edward Christopher Beck II and Lady Trina Campbell with the birth of Lord David Edward Christopher Beck III.
