Lord Stephen Devereux is a direct descendant of Walter Devereux, 8th Baron Ferrers of Chartley and his wife, Anne Ferrers and their son, Lord John Devereux, 9th Baron Ferrers of Chartley and wife, Lady Cecily Bouchier and their son, Walter Devereux, 1st Viscount Hereford and his wife, Lady Mary Grey and their son, Richard Devereux and his wife, Lady Dorothea Hastings and their son, Sir Edward Devereux, 1st Baronet of Castle Bromwich.
Lord Stephen Devereux's ancestor died side by side fighting for King Richard III of England with Lord John Howard,1st Duke of Norfolk. All three, King Richard III, Lord John Howard and Lord Walter Devereux were killed by the usurper, Henry Tudor on August 22,1485.
When Lord Patrick William Howard married Lord Stephen Devereux's sister, Lady Margaret Penelope Devereux. They became even closer as they both came from families that fought for King Richard III.
Lord Stephen Devereux married Lady Ann Hasting and they had Lord Richard Devereux and Lady Ann Devereux.
Lord Richard Devereux is the father of Lady Penelope Rich nee Devereux who second husband Lord Edwin William Howard and she inherits the title of Countess of Essex Territory from her father, but her husband didn't so therefore, when their only child, Lady Eliza Katherine Beck nee Howard passes away in 2250 it passes onto her grandson, Lord David William Beck Senior.
Lord Stephen's brother, Lord Edward Devereux inherits the Earldom of Hereford Territory, and he marries Lady Mary Say and they had a son, Lord Edward Devereux and he has a son name, Lord Walter Devereux and a daughter name Lady Lettice Devereux.
The Devereux were of both French, Irish and English descendant and they fought for the Yorkists, but they were strong Roman Catholics all but for the wife of Lord Walter Devereux who was the granddaughter of Lady Mary Boleyn and Lord William Carey, and her mother was Lady Catherine Carey and Sir Francis Knollys who were devote Protestants.
Lady Lettice was the first cousin once removed of Queen Elizabeth I of England and she was the great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord John Howard 1st Duke of York through his son, Lord Thomas Howard and his first wife, Lady Elizabeth and through their eldest daughter, Lady Elizabeth Howard who married Sir Thomas Boleyn.
Lady Lettice Knolly was the mother of Lord Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex, Lady Penelope Rich née Devereux and Lady Dorothy Devereux.
Later on, Lord Robert Frederick Carey would marry his distant cousin, Lady Lettice Knolly and they would be the father and mother of Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory
The Devereux were a proud family that traveled with Lord Patrick William Howard on April 30, 2153, along with the other families that traveled on board the USS Excalibur.
Lord Stephen Devereux claimed the Eastern Territory of Star Base 12 and called it "Essex Territory" with the help of Lord Patrick William Howard they erected a duplicate of Charley Manor but later on through Lady Penelope her father built the magnificent White-Hall Manor that was her childhood home and it passed onto her grandson, Lord David William Beck Senior along with Elmhurst Estate that was owned by Lord David Edward Christopher Beck who married Lady Margaret Devereux another sister of Lord John Devereux and she was the mother of Lord William David Beck, Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck and Lord David Edward Christopher Beck II and Lord David William Beck was also her grandson, through her son, Lord William David Beck who married Lady Eliza Catherine Howard.
