Lord Richard William Carey and Karissa declare their love for each other, and they don't conceal or hide their feelings for one another, but when Lord Andrew Charles Howard hears the news, he becomes outraged.
Lord Andrew Charles disregards the rules that were set down in 2153 when his great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard became the 1st Duke of Norfolk Territory.
He climbs into the Howard carriage, and he goes into Bedford Territory despite the fact he has been banned from Bedford Territory.
Lord Andrew Charles rides out to Madame's Boarding House where Karissa is living and when he arrives Madame is standing outside of her manor, and she looks at him "Bonjour Monsieur Howard. How can I help you?"
"Good Day Madame. I am here to see Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"Monsieur Howard. Mademoiselle Karissa is not here. I don't know where she is right now. "Madame tells him.
"She must be at the library at Star-Fleet Academy." Lord Andrew Charles tells Madame.
"I have no idea as I am not the lady's mother who boards here." Madame states.
" I do believe that you have been banned from Star-Fleet Academy because of that scene you did at the Star-Fleet Dinner and Dance." Madame tells him.
"Monsieur Howard. You are only bringing disgrace upon your family." Madame tells him "I would hate to think what your grandfather, great-grandfather or great-great-grandfather would say." Madame states, "I knew your grandfather and I know your father."
"If Lord Richard William Carey finds you defied his ban on you from his territory. He will tell you father and I will have to tell him that you are looking for Mademoiselle Karissa." Madame tells him.
"Is it true that my second cousin twice removed declared his love for the woman that I love." Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"I don't know Lord Andrew Charles." Madame confesses "If he did, he means it."
"I know Lord George Carey and he was one of the finest gentlemen ever to be born." Madame tells him.
"I have a lot of respect for Lord Richard William Carey. " Madame confesses " Lord Richard William Carey will make a fine husband and father."
Lord Andrew Charles bows and bids Madame a good day and he climbs back into his carriage, and he heads for Star-Fleet Academy.
Once again, he defies the rules and he starts to look for Karissa and he heads for the library and when he arrives he enters the library but he doesn't see Karissa.
Lord Andrew Charles asks a student "Have you seen Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell?"
"No. The only person who might know where she is Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley, but he is in class." The student tells him.
Lord Andrew Charles heads for his first cousin once removed from office and he knocks on the door and Lt. Commander David Beck calls out " Come in, it's open." and when he sees it Lord Andrew Charles Howard. Lt Commander David Beck looks up and asks " What brings you to my office Lord Andrew Charles?"
"I am looking for Karissa. Do you know where I can find her?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"If I did. I wouldn't tell you Lord Andrew Charles. You have broken the rules and you were forbidden to come on Star-Fleet Academy property." Lt. Commander David Beck states.
"I am afraid I am going to have to send word to your father." Lt. Commander David Beck tells Lord Andrew Charles.
"Did you hear that our cousin declared his love to Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles asks Lt. Commander David Beck.
