"I think picking back up in the Spring or Summer would be best." I explain to Jeff.

"Yeah, but mate, we have great momentum being built right now, I really think we should announce some more dates going straight into the Fall, the fans are with you."

"Jeff. Please, I need some time, I have songs that I need to be able to write. Let's keep with the schedule for the Fall and Winter, and then we can pick back up next Spring and we can include some of the new material. We can keep momentum in other ways."

We've been sitting in the makeshift office for about an hour now going over the last leg of the tour. Making sure all the arenas are still set with new security procedures, merchandise has been ordered, and guests have been confirmed. There's about three weeks left of this part of the tour, and we've been planning on picking back up in the Springtime. It was a new idea, to separate the tour into smaller pieces. I just remembered how tired I was after a huge tour with the boys all those years ago, so with the additional locations we wanted to add, I wanted to find a way to do it so the entire staff didn't have to give up a whole year of their lives at once.

By breaking the tour down, I and my entire staff can enjoy the holiday season with our families, and then get back on the road. I'm of course excited, because it means I can finally get some time with my family, and of course, Adelaide.

"Harry, I just want you happy, I just think it's a big risk to not add something surprising for the fans while we still have all this energy!"

He's not wrong, the tour has been going incredible, numbers keep going up, and the overall fan base is growing at an insanely rapid pace.

"Fine, how about we throw in some single performances around the holidays? A pop up or two?" I reason.

"I'll get on it and we can talk about it more in a few days." Jeff says, like he's won some kind of debate.

"Yeah yeah, sounds good." I take a deep breath and swivel my office chair a bit back and forth before continuing. "Hey, uh, Jeff. Have you talked to Adelaide at all since everything happened? Do you know how she's doing?"

"Not really, no, but I've assumed she's been talking to you I mean, you two have become so close. Her ribs are healing up nicely, yeah?"

"They are, doctor says she'll be ok with some more time and more rest. But the doctor told me that, not Addy, she hasn't said anything to me about the attack. After everything settled with the officers, she's become so closed off, so quiet. I just wanted to make sure she's dealing with everything. We went out to breakfast that next day and it's like she decided to literally put everything behind her, ignore that it happened at all. I thought we were just giving ourselves some time, not just choosing to ignore everything that had happened."

"Have you brought it up to her at all? Talked to her even after a show?"

"She hasn't come to stay with me since." I admit. "She's been on the staff bus with extra security at her request."

"Well, Harry..." he begins, in a knowing, cheeky tone, "you did-"

"No, stop, I know where you are going with this. I did not."

At my ridiculous denial, Jeff just laughs at me. "Harry you told her you loved her, I mean, you might not have said the words so plainly, but you said it. Her staying away might not be about the incident at all."

"I did not tell her anything!" I shout back incredulously.

"Keep telling yourself that mate." He says as he pats my on my shoulder. "I'm gonna run, gotta get back to Glenne, we're all good here buddy. Just ask her to talk."
