Existing at Once

Chapter 2 ~ Regret

Ending a regret of 10 years took a lot of mental power and as a very popular anime character whose name will go down in history for the next generations of anime, a lot of moving forward.

 But as for Entia, she will go through many years of torment, the only consoling thing for her is that she'll have a clear understanding as to why every single of moment of her life that consist of happiness, loss of a friend or potential partner, or even as to why she feels heartache out of nowhere, that will all be explained by her ability of memory linking specific moments to her present. 

Other than that... Welcome to Entia' venture through meeting and cutting off people!

It was 4th grade orientation for our dear Entia, the children's parents were off somewhere listening to some orientation that was made for them, but as for the children themselves, they were free to play in the playground after their pointless orientation, pointless due to the fact that any papers that were given to them were justy laying on the ground waiting for parent signatures. 

 Entia then returns from the bathroom after having skipped the last part of the orientation, she then sees the friend she had made while talking during the orientation named Prairie Cedillo. Keep in mind as a child, it is very easy to make friends because you simply don't give a fuck of who you talk to make friends with if you just wanna have fun with everoyne else.

The orientation however had finished and the both had agreed to play at the playground, "Hey Entia you missed the last part of the orientation silly! You at least wanna go play now?"

Little did our young Entia know that this moment of neglect would scar her for at least the next ten years of her life due to her just running away across the black top while Prairie watched her go play with other random kids. 

As for why she had run, "Naw, I can go play with the boys instead and have a good time, but maybe I shouldn't have just ran away and told her we can play later." is what went through Entia's mind as Prairie just watched Entia run away from her in confusion and bitter sadness.

Now as for whatever words that were exchanged to have caused a friendship to spark but having left also such a sad beginning to it at the beginning of the orientation, is all but a haze. 

But what Prairie felt later that day when she went off with her other friend for consoling, Carolina, whom in which we have no history as of that moment, but will leave an impact on Entia throughout this decade of discovery. 

Point is all this didn't matter anyway to our blind Entia because they had played later that week. 

During one recess however, this is where a memory link was made. 

As for what is a memory link, it is when Entia makes a memory in the past, present, or future that gets triggered whenever something makes a personal impact on her that will come into effect when thinking of what actions or sayings to do in a specific moment. 

Memory links can happen at any given time regardless of the time she is in from the present receiving memories from the future or vice versa. 

Keep in mind, actions matter more to Entia, since they're easier to read but also to analyze when observing another person's appearance and personality. 

Secondly is because they simply speak more than words. But Entia being a scorpio, whatever is on her mind always secretes it's way to making others feel happy or miserable. 

Hence our dear protagonist's unmaintained personality because if either happy, sad, or mad, she has the special rare ability that very few humans have, it is having the power of communication to at least project what exactly is good or wrong with her. 

"Hey Prairie, can you come with me to the bathroom and then we can keep playing freeze tag?" They both went, as Prairie waited outside for Entia

"This sucks! I always get frozen and you always have to come unfreeze me because you're fast and skinny. Maybe I should stop playing with you and everyone else because I'm just fat and useless."says Entia as she comes out of the bathroom holding onto her belly pudge all sad. 

Prairie smacks Entia on the head as she lectures...

A memory link is then created for Entia that will appear many times in the future each time she thinks  about the figure of her body.

"It's not about what's on the outside Entia, it's the inside."

"How about you and me just go sit on the grass yea?"

Entia starts crying confusingly as Prairie holds her one arm over the shoulder, leading her towards the grass area while also having said such impactful words as a 4th grader. 

Now for a 4th grader to have even said something as cheesy yet sweet like that, it baffled Entia that she was able to make an innate response like that and managed to make her feel better.

So of course Entia was going to fucking fall hard for her. So hard that as mentioned, that the thought of getting with Prairie lingered for nearly 10 years in Entia's mind.

As for why Entia started crying, it's because she was learning it's okay to not always please others by putting on a fake personality. 

Entia just always needed to make sure she kept interacting with people so that whatever is guiding her, will eventually lead her to finding her soulmate so that she can be taken care of.

All this was just new to her though and it had taken a mental toll on her to process what she was feeling since it was her first time feeling this.

Better yet, the ability had also then awakened in the form of either using the person or cutting them off to attain what she wanted.

As for that want, it was reciprocation from someone that will always be her and make her feel okay, while in turn, she would do the same, but tenfold because Entia was just simply capable of loving immensely.

Prairie at the time though was one of those people that made her feel okay and Entia did not want to let that go. 

 Entia having not played with Prairie that day was the doing of her innate ability.

Which was again to only be drawn to the right people in the moment.

Now as for the type of person Prairie became in the future, Entia having neglected Prairie that day subconsciously directed her toward the right path for her future.

Although it was many years of just mental torment, it would have been infinitely many times better to tread her own both than being in the one she could have had with Prairie.

The Entia of the future is in sure acknowledgment of this. 

But as for the kid Entia that is now walking upon this path, there will be no acknowledgment as to why she did what she did.

Until then, it was many nights of crying until she fell asleep because she was trying to forget the regret of not having turned back and played with Prairie.

Entia mourned upon the decision also because she also thought it could have led to a beautiful life long friendship, relationship, or maybe marriage. 

Everything and everyone always serves a purpose to each other however, and Entia was now going to go through a lot of people to find out the reason for not having turned back on that reminiscent day.
