Imagine going to a fucking carnival alone, not getting on any rides, or at least go with one person, if anything, Entia never had the idea of going to the carnival for herself.
Leinad was busy still finding a way to have a glow up so that meant she really hadn't made many friends to begin with.
This really all was for the reason that when attempting to make friends, she's lured in with always having the intention of getting into a relationship instead of actually building a bond first.
Entia isn't at fault for this however because she had started to get used to having to not people paying attention to her because in actuality, she isn't that attractive.
So each time she would get the slightest bit of attention, it meant the world to her and she would begin to just fantasize all the romantic possibilities that could happen between her and the person.
Point being, she really went to the carnival to see who would approach her.
Little did she know however that in her summer from ninth grade to tenth grade year, she would find the regretful first love that she had made back in elementary.
Despite being kids, for Entia to have been romantically resentful and traumatized at the age she was in 4th grade to her being a prepubescent teenager, the moment and person she saw at the carnival that day is something very vivid that Entia would not be able to forget until she cuts off the illusion of ever being with none other than Prairie that had stood right in front of her once more, but this time in an anime fashion.
Yes, anime fashion, meaning guy standing at the bottom of the hill as the cherry blossom winds magically go up while brushing past the girl on top of the hill and the two magically fall in love.
Except in this scenario it was much shittier, but you understand the concept.
Standing atop the line of the stairs onto the ferris wheel, about to get on, Entia looks upon her as her hair blocks her face.
Emtia unsure if it's really her but she then looks at Entia after moving her hair aside then immediately recognizing her while both shed a tear after not having seen each other for nearly four years as lights from the ferris wheel glisten behind Prairie then onto Entia making then the moment itself a colorful cliche as the two shared the moment that lasted a nostalgic and yearnful three seconds, the two knew that they had missed each other.
Instead of Entia turning away this time, she ran towards her with reaching hands but then...
"Hey babe, what's the hold up? And why are you crying you weirdo, cmon we're about to get on." The guy says with an arm around her as he also notices Entia and gives her a threatening glare.
You could imagine Entia's disappointment from this, as she finally gained the coruage to speak to Prairie, but then inconsiderate fuck of a boyfriend comes in to ruin a moment in which the Entia believes could have corrected her wrong doings from within the past 4 years that had passed.
After this moment, Entia's yearning had still continued for she had desperately attempted to find her after the ride but her boyfriend had swiftly swept her away.
The search then continued on social media, but no traces of her were found, thus concluding her brief entrance to Entia's teenage life for now.
The new high school year had began and Entia had enrolled this year into both school campuses, the Seaside and Currentside campus to see if she can meet more people, but what she end up doing was instead is rekindling a friendship that she had back in middle school, but had started in elementary school.
Carolina De la Cruz, this friendship had always been in a rocky status due to Entia not valuing the ties of just being friends, and since Entia never saw Carolina as a potential dating partner, she easily disregarded her feelings of friendship all the time which caused constant schism between both.
But as for Carolina, she will now get some story time because just like all the previous characters that have been previously mentioned but also easily dismissed, they will cross to either serve Entia emotional relief or distress.
"No way your dumbass got into this AP Spanish Literature class !?Also what are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be at the seaside campus!?" exclaims Carolina from the seat in front of Entia
"Screw you bitch, I'm fluent enough to curse your dumbass out in front of the class, and I'm going to both now so I'll be seeing you more often". Entia boasts back to Carolina.
The both then playfully argued in spanish as the whole class listened in in caution thinking a fight was actually about to happen. Even the teacher had to intervene.
So yes, the both had the connection strong enough to at least look past fights and just enjoy their time in that class.
"Hey Carolina, do you by chance remember Prairie? And if so, do you have any contact with her?" Entia asks shyly after having thrown some vulgar yet again, playful insults in spanish.
Carolina begins saying while chuckling "Who that one bitch that you were in love with- waiiiiittt, no waiiittt are you still in lov-"
"Just answer my question, yes or no!?" Entia says in sudden released anger catching Carolina off guard.
"Uh... no Entia, sorry..."
She looks at Carolina and apologizes.
"Hey, how about after the periods are over, pop tarts on me from the vending machines yea, we definitely gotta catch up on some other shit." offers Entia in a soft tone to make up for the sudden burst.
From there it really was a blissful year between the two as Entia started to see Carolina as a friend because they started off the morning with their same first period.
Later throughout the day however, Entia did already have her sights on another girl in which she also decided to make a tradition to ask her out each year in hopes she would eventually say yes, but always said no.
Now nothing ever really did happen between the two, but again, some habits never really die until one decides to let them go.
The varsity girls captain of the wrestling team, Noisette Barrios.
Now her purpose for Entia was simply to show her that if she had simply focused more on the friendship aspect of their knowing of each other throughout the three years they had together in high school, then perhaps they might've had a chance.
Naive Entia did not care about that though, she really just wanted to date Noisette as soon as possible, the intent was so strong that Entia even quit her cross country team to join the wrestling team Noisette was in.
This backfired of course and but there's much more to Noisettes friendship with Entia still
Such as Entia's most memorable moment with her that happened the summer of them going into their 11th grade year.
What occured between the both of them that summer was so eye opening to Entia that it even surpasses the third time in which Entia asked out Noisette.
The moment itself was special in its own way to Entia because yet again, another anime cliche moment had happened in which boy asks out girl, girl yells "baka!" and runs away while blushing.
Exactly that moment happened to Entia, but later with a disappointing phone call between the two that Noisette gave a legitimate yet cruel reason as to why she said no.
Point being, this girl mattered less and less to Entia and what only remains now for our dear protagonist is the memory link of simply valuing a friendship more than relationship.
Entia's venture within her second year of high school year hasn't ended just yet though.
The intent to find someone to be with her in a relationship so that she can be taken care of still was in pursuit thanks to the mechanism of bringing and cutting off the right people to make her move forward.
