Sitting on the park bench Amy had become more than familiar with she'd thought of standing up and walking away, back to her own personal hell, back to the loneliness.

Back to him.

But despite the eyes that threatened tears behind her sunglasses, the shaking of her leg that made her foot vibrate inside her vans and her unsteady breathing. She kept herself glued to that bench, sinking into its metal grasp. It's hard iron hold dug into the leather of her jacket annoying her spine.

Amy's eyes jumped from every masculine bodily frame, waiting in nerves for his arrival. She'd lost count how long she hadn't seen him or spoken to him in person, but she did know it was a painful hold on her heart.

So when her eyes landed on his approach a few meters away the bench pushed her away with eagerness. The two lost minds quickened their hosts so that they could become one sooner rather than later.

"Amy," Freddy whispered in long awaited relief as he gladly welcomed the woman into his arms.

Amy let the tears finally fall, "hi Freddy."

Freddy melted with salty trickles and a soft heart at the sound of her voice speaking his name again. Truth be told he had his own nerves of meeting up with her today but Caroline pushed him out the front door before he even had chance to chicken out and object to the whole thing.

Amy looked up at with a warm smile and he couldn't help but return it as he took his hands to her face to wipe the tears from under her eyes. Amy winced and moved her head causing Freddy to recoil his hands and after a moment reach for the sunglasses. She didn't object when he took them from her face, but he only immediately felt sick with horror and hurt.

Clotting on her left eyelid and eyebrow was a mix of yellow and purple bruising, and he immediately knew why. Amy had roughly updated him on what Jack was like but he'd seen the effects for himself now. He dread to think what other injuries she'd succumbed to.

"Dear God," Freddy softly pulled her towards him again. He had one arm around her waist and his other hand on the back of her head. "I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault, don't ever blame yourself for his actions. You're not like him." Amy spoke directly onto his chest, there was no way she was going to let him compare himself to Jack.

He still felt guilty, "I know."

Amy pulled away from him and took her sunglasses back to put them on, "come on, we have three hours."

There were some things in this world that Frederick Carter knew were wonders. For example, Niagra Falls  was one great wonder of the world; Amy Witty was another.

She was still so beautiful despite being so ill.

And despite being sweet and innocent, she plays a murderous monster along side him.

He'd watched her personality grow from being a quiet and shy young girl to being the bubbly and confident woman she was now. Yeah that journey wasn't always straight forward and was often a case of one step forward and three steps back but she'd gotten there in the end.

Freddy liked to think he was partly the reason for such development, for her having the confidence to audition for Broadway, multiple movies, shows and photo shoots. He'd never forget the phone call he received after she got casted as Veronica from Heather's, the poor girl was practically crying.

But despite all the craziness and excitement she'd brought to his life, he also enjoyed the calm quiet before the storm moments. Like the current moment, Sunday mornings were usually quiet for them anyway.

It was a blue sky type of day in which small white fluffy clouds floated in outside the open window of the bedroom. Freddy was laid without covers but with a fan on and had Amy's head on his shoulder - she was still asleep. He was smiling fondly at her as he lightly stroked the bridge of her nose with his finger, the other arm was wrapped tightly around her waist.

When Amy finally opened her eyes, she lightly kissed Freddy's fingers and smiled against his skin.

"You been awake long?" She asked, brushing her legs against Freddy's as she stretched them out.

"Not particularly." White lie, she'd woke him up an hour and twenty minutes ago with a coughing fit - but he wasn't going to tell her that.

"You sure? You look more tired than I feel."

Freddy let out a chuckle, "believe me, I'm fine." Yet another white lie, the whole reason he'd been kept awake was by more of her coughing fits and her burning skin - to the point where he'd actually taken his shirt off and was now laid there shirtless. But again, he wasn't going to tell her that.

A perky "oh!" escaped Amy's mouth as she blushed at the realisation that Freddy didn't have a shirt on. Having realised his girlfriend's shock and embarrassment, he smirked and whispered in her ear sending sparks down Amy's spine. "Like what you see?"

After coughing twice Amy smirked and walked two of her fingers up his chest to playfully tap him on the nose, "I suppose I can get used to this."

Freddy freed a chuckle as he reached out with his spare hand to check the time on his phone, 11:45, "remind me to get some new batteries for the clock."

"Reminder is noted."

He was about to speak to her again when Amy quickly forced herself from his arms, out of bed and ran into the bathroom closing the door behind her. Freddy cautiously followed after her and knocked on the door, "Amy, darling, is everything okay?"

emetophobia warming!! (vomit)

Amy's tired voice lazily replied back, "don't come in." But said request was soon followed by a wretch and the sound a thick liquid falling into water. He immediately understood she was throwing up and quietly opened the door and walked up behind her, he carefully held back all of her hair and rubbed her back comfortingly.

Amy let out a sigh of relief as she fell back to lean on her boyfriend's legs, she closed her eyes for a moment to collect herself before standing up and flushing the chain on the toilet. While washing her face, Freddy retrieved her glass of water from last night and handed it to her.

She took it from him with a smile and finished the rest of the glass, she sighed a 'thank you' as she lightly slammed the glass on the counter.

Freddy smiled at her sympathetically as he grasped her hand, "come on, back to bed with you."

"No," Amy whined as she begrudgingly followed him back to the bed.

"Why?" Freddy whined back at her, always a tease.

"I don't want to!"

"I'll be there?"

Amy thought about it for a moment before gladly following him back to bed, Freddy was shirtless so she had to make the most of it after all.

"So now you're eager?"

Amy smirked, "only because you're shirtless."

Now who is left speechless.

The moment Amy actually curled up next to Freddy she felt herself go tired and sure enough, with a chuckle from Freddy, she fell back asleep.
