Amy folded her arms in the table as she leaned forward slightly towards him causing Freddy to shift in his seat. "You wanted to talk?" Amy tilted her head,"about last night?"
"I don't care if you meant it but I need you to know the truth," Freddy locked her gaze, "when I said it was sorry. I'm not sorry Amy, I've wanted to do that for the longest time now."
"Amy, I've always felt like this towards you, ever since I first met you. No matter how much I tried to deny it."
Amy's face was unreadable and it terrified him.
"I'll arrange for the room swap," Freddy sighed, "save you from the awkwardness I've put us into. I apologize for jeopardizing our friendshi-"
Freddy was cut off when Amy placed her hand on his and smiled softly, "please don't do that."
Freddy turned his hand over so he could hold her's in his before meeting her gaze, begging her to say something more.
"To be honest, Freddy, I've had a feeling for months that I haven't been able to explain until last night. It's almost as if after a while the world shifted and I saw you completely differently."
"Is that a bad different or a good different?" Freddy smiled, adding a joke to the conversation.
Amy squeezed his hand,"the best thing."
Freddy smiled as he looked down,"so.." He met her gaze again,"where do we go from here?"
"I don't think we can go to being friends again Freddy," Amy sighed as she squeezed his hand.
"Are you saying...?" Freddy smiled at her wholly, despite the disbelief of what he was hearing.
Amy winked at him, "if you agree?"
Freddy couldn't contain the excitement in his tone, "yes! Yes of course I do."
Freddy let out a tiny groan as he stretched his legs and they brushed against Amy's. His arm was around her hips loosely, it was a miracle neither of them had fallen off the sofa."Amy." Freddy whispered softly as he squeezed her waist, hoping to wake her up. "Amy," Freddy whispered again.
Freddy moved slightly when he felt Amy start to wake up, he smiled warmly when he felt her lips press against his jaw and even more so when he heard her let out a soft giggle.
Amy stretched out her limbs, almost hitting Freddy in the face to which he pulled a contorted face and she hit him in the face on purpose. A playful glare took over his face before he could barely keep it up against the pentrating bright sun of a smile that was lighting up her face.
"I can't stay mad at you when you smile at me like that."
Amy smiled at him again, "you can't even get mad at me in the first place."
Freddy tightened his hold on her, "true. It's impossible."
"Improbable."
He laughed which caused another smile on her face.
"You're in a good mood," he said, after a few minutes. Amy hummed, "I had a good dream."
Freddy's eyebrow curved, "care to share?"
"Just a reminder of our first date and the conversation we had."
Freddy was about the respond until both his and Amy's heads jolted to the direction of the door opening. They hadn't locked it the previous night. "You should really lock your door, any jackass could walk in." Archie commented as he leaned against the wall watching the couple laid on the sofa - a smirk toying with his lips, "well this is cozy isn't it. Although I will say it's weird how you're a couple and yet you still stick to sleeping on the sofa. You've got two perfectly good beds."
