Chapter 20 Bad news

They all just got out of the stage, now standing around the dressing room, the alligator was tired, he had been all night. For that reason he didn't even realize he had hit his arm again something until it bleed onto the floor.

Chica: Monty, hun, you're bleeding.

Monty: Fuck.- he whispered, applying pressure to the place, their hands becoming bloody, it really wasn't enough.

Freddy: Monty, how about I patch you up?

Monty:You have gloves?!

Freddy: Not here, but I'll wash my hands before I touch them.

Monty: Nope not happening, stay back.- they said moving back.

Bonnie: Are you ok dude?!

Monty: Yeah, I'm fine, let me handle this.

Freddy: I can help you.

Monty: STAY THE FUCK BACK!! IM PROTECTING YOU FOR FUCKS SAKE!!- they snapped, Freddy still confused about what was happening decided to ask.

Freddy: PROTECTING ME FROM WHAT?!

Monty: HIV!! I MIGHT HAVE HIV ALRIGHT?!- there were a few moments of silence before he spoke again- Why do you think I've always been careful with my nosebleeds and stuff?

Gregory: Uhm... I'm a bit lost so I'll just, go...- he said leaving the dressing room, the other girls following.

Chica: Yeah we should get moving....

Bonnie: So should we... Freddy get some gloves and patch them up, we gotta hit the road.- they moved over to the car, the bear taking out the first aid kit and began gently wrapping new bandages.

Freddy: I'm glad you trusted us with your secret...

Monty: I didn't... You know maybe I don't deserve the second chance. Maybe you should stop caring about me.- he asked has the other finished wrapping his arms.

Freddy: I won't. You made a pretty good point before and I refuse to let my abuser dictate my life so... I'm caring about you no matter what. - the taller added, kissing the other's hands.

This guy... How does he make this feel better? How?... Maybe Bon is onto something with him...

They thought has they went inside the car and began to drive, questions flooding everyone's mind.

Bonnie: Why did you say you might have HIV?

Monty: I haven't gotten tested yet.

Freddy: Why not?

Monty: I'm scared ok?!- he replied holding on his tears- What if I'm positive? What if I have it?! I just... I don't know if I could phase it.

Freddy: Where you got it from?

Monty: Sharing needles... Stupid decisions I know...

Bonnie: You know, even if in theory I'd be upset because you didn't tell us but I can't even be... You've been careful.

Monty:I don't want to infect anyone else, that's why I'm careful....- there was a moment of silence, before the alligator spoke once more- Thanks for not being judgemental about it... Normally when I tell people I might have it they either freak out or start making me feel like I'm discusting.

Freddy: Why would we freak out? Like Bon said you've been careful, it's VERY unlikely you gave us anything.... Also why would we make you feel discusting? It can happen to everyone, specially knowing you used to do heroin.

Bonnie: Yeah, exactly... The people who made you feel that way are stupid at least.

It was around 3 am when they got to the campsite, everyone had made their way into their tents to sleep besides two love birds that were in a desperate need of a talk. Bonnie stood outside of the car drinking some tea looking up to the sky, Freddy stood besides him, also drinking the tea they had made, but he looked up for only a second before speaking.

Freddy: Beautiful night isn't it?- he asked, granting the other's attention.

Bonnie: Yeah...- he replied looking over to the vocalist who sipped his beverage before speaking.

Freddy: Why did you call me?

Bonnie: I need to tell you something's...

Freddy: Go at it then.

Bonnie: Freddy, I l-love you.- a smile formed in the other's face him holding the rabbits hand.

Freddy: I love you to, Bon.

Bonnie: Before you get to lovey dovy let me finish... I've said I love you to someone else last night and... I'm confused... It's not that I don't feel anything for you, I do. I love you more then anything, but you're not the only one I got feelings for....

Freddy: Who is it?

Bonnie: You aren't mad at them are you? You do know they done nothing wrong, I don't even know if they like me back.

Freddy: I'm not mad I'm just asking cuz... If they make you happy... Depending on the person I'm willing to join a polycule, but I need to know them better.

Bonnie: Are you actually considering it?

Freddy: Yes, if we're all fine with it, it's the most plausible thing to do. Who are they tho?

Bonnie:It's Monty.- the taller's expression became one of confliction hearing this.

Freddy: He's a fine person but... You know how I feel about addicts, there's a difference between being friends with them and dating them.- the younger moved close to the other, putting his hands on his shoulder.

Bonnie: I know how much trauma you went through that part of your life, I'm not asking you to be poly, just know I can't commit just to you.- the vocalist sighed before speaking once more.

Freddy: I'm willing to get closer to him...

Bonnie: You sure if won't trigger you? You can not do it, alright?

Freddy: I know it's just... I wanna know what you see in him... Besides this might prove how effective therapy was.

Bonnie: Ok then... Just be careful, don't hurt yourself.

Freddy: I won't... Thanks for worrying tho.- he said before kissing the other's forehead.

Bonnie: Has for what we are?...

Freddy: I don't mind staying freinds with benefits a bit longer.

Bonnie: Alright then... I'm glad we're in the same page.- he added before pulling the other into a hug- Feels great to be able to finally say I love you.... I love you so much Freddy.

Freddy: Alright that's enough I love yous, if you say that one more time you'll have to show me.- the other smirked before landing a kiss on the other's neck.

Bonnie: I love you....- the taller pulled away from the hug, putting down the drink, Bonnie doing the same, before the bear pulled him into a kiss, pulling away a few moments after.

Freddy: How about we take this inside the car?- he asked his face close to the other's.

Bonnie: I'd love that...
