3rd person POV:

"No mom! You can't just show up without giving a warning!" Z yelled into his phone.

"I am giving a warning! That's why I'm calling you now." His mom replied.

"You're telling me this after you're already 30 minutes away! That's not much of a warning!" Z yelled, pacing around his room.

"Well, what's the issue? Don't you want to see us?" She said, exaggerating the 'us'. "Us? Who's all coming?"

"Me, your father, and your Aunt and Uncle!" Z froze, "And where are you all staying?.."

"With you!" She said excitedly, "You live in a big fancy house, so we have no reason to get a hotel!"

"You guys do realize I live with four other people right?" Z sighed. "Yeah so? If you live with four others you have enough room for us!"

"What are you implying?.." Z walked over to his window and looked out making sure they aren't there yet.

"That if you don't have enough extra rooms, you could just kick one of them out or something." She shrugged, even though Z couldn't see the action.

"Are you serious?! I'm not kicking any of them out so you can have enough rooms. You can get a hotel, you aren't staying here." Z hung up and sat down on his bed. "I swear the audacity some people have."

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, which made Z jump a bit. "Is it safe to come in?" T could be heard through the door. "Yeah,"

T opened the door and walked in, "The others are going to get food, do you wanna-" T stopped and looked at Z, "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing, just my parents are coming." Z shrugged. "I know there's more than that." T walked over and sat down next to him.

"They just aren't the most thoughtful people, and they don't know about us," Z took T's hand, "I don't want to know how they will react to us either.."

"Well, we just have to hope for the best! And if it does go wrong, I'll be with you." T said, nudging Z. "Yeah I guess, thank you, T.."

"No problem! Anyway, let's go downstairs." T started pulling Z towards the door, "Hold on," Z pulled T back and kissed him, "Now we can go."

Both of them then started making their way downstairs, "Z! There are people here for you!" Robaire yelled. "Coming!" Z yelled back.

"I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." T then made his way to the kitchen, while Z headed to the front door.

Once he got there he saw the four of them, and three of his friends by the door also, "Oh Z, me, Jesse, and Tae are all going out, we'll be back in an hour or so." Robaire said before opening the door and walking out, the others doing the same.

Once the door closed his mother spoke, "Hello Aaron," She walked over and hugged Z, he hesitated but hugged her back, "Hello mother," Z pulled away, "Hello father."

"Hello, Aaron," His dad replied. "Nice place you have." He said while looking around. "Yeah, I guess," Z looked around a bit. "Do you guys want to go sit in the living room and talk?.."

"Sure," His mom replied, "Okay, let's go then." Z lead them to the living room and sat down, them doing the same.

"So Aaron, have you gotten a girlfriend yet? I'm sure with you being famous and all you have a lot of fangirls." His dad spoke with an unreadable expression. "I mean I guess, but no I don't have a girlfriend.."

"That's a shame, there are a lot of pretty girls out there." His mom replied, Z hummed in response, uncomfortable with this conversation. "If you aren't interested in anyone currently, we have someone we could set you up with. She's a fan of you."

"What? No!" Z yelled, "What do you mean no" His dad said, staring at him. "No! That's what I mean! I'm not letting you set me up with some girl!"

"Why are you getting so worked up about this?!" His dad yelled back. "Because I'm gay!" Once Z said that he instantly regretted it, "What?" His mom spoke quietly.

Z sighed, "T! Could you come here, please.." T walked into the room with a cup of water, and stood behind Z, "What's up?" T asked, ignoring the obvious tension in the room, "Mom, Dad, this is Aaron T." Z hesitated, "my boyfriend..."

"If this is a joke it's not funny Aaron." His dad said unamused. "I'm not joking, me and T are dating." Z stood up, his parents doing the same. "T come here.." T walked over next to Z, and Z grabbed his hand.

All there was, was silence; the only thing Z could hear was his heart racing. He could feel his father's gaze on him, "Aaron-" She got cut off, "I won't have a gay son." Z stiffened, "And you!" He pointed at T, "You turned my son into..this!" He gestured to their hands.

"Honey, you should stop." His mom spoke, "No, I will not let my son be gay." He said harshly. "And if he is, he's not my son." His dad then left the room, "I'm so sorry Aaron, I'll be back in a second." She said before following her husband out.

Z sat down on the couch, "What did I just do.." T sat down next to him, "T, what did I just do?" He didn't know what to say, so instead, he just hugged Z. "It'll be okay.." T whispered.

Once they heard the front door open, they pulled away and stood up. They watched as Z's mom walked in, she walked up to him and hugged him. "I hope you know that I support you." She pulled away and looked at T, "And I'm sorry for the way he talked to you."

"It's fine," T shrugged, "It's not, you shouldn't be hated for loving each other." She looked back over at Z, "I have to get going, I love you, Aaron."

"I love you too mom." Z smiled, "And Aaron T?" T chuckled, "Just call me T," She smiled, "Alright, T, take care of him for me." She hugged him. "I will," T said, returning the hug.

She pulled away and waved them goodbye, once they heard the front door close they went back to Z's room. "Well, that was something." T flopped onto his bed. "You're telling me," Z sat down next to him. "Are you okay though?" T sat up, "Yeah, I will be."
