The first couple chapters might not be written well, but it does get better as the book goes on.

3rd person POV:
"How can I eat these pancakes when my boyfriend is cheating on me?" T huffed.
Robaire pointed to the plate that T was actively eating, "That's your third plate, you're working poor Tae to the bone."
T turned to see Tae in the kitchen, anxiously mixing the batter, "I'm fine, I'm totally on top of it."
Robaire sat down next to T, "Now that you've had three plates, care to elaborate on what's going on?"
T stabbed his fork into the pancakes, "He's hanging out with a friend, which is fine normally, but he's totally into Z. And Z doesn't notice because he's stupid and oblivious."
"If it bothers you so much, you should tell him." Tae said from the kitchen.
"But he'll think I'm annoying and clingy and needy."
Tae stops mixing and looks at T, "Have you asked him if he thinks you're like that?"
"No, beacuse I feel like that's me being clingy."
Tae went back to mixing, "You know you're allowed to like your boyfriend, right?"
"I know, but I'm just worried, like all the time. I'm worried that one day he'll wake up and realize how much of a bother I am, and he won't love me anymore."
T shoved the last of the pancake in his mouth and showed the plate to Tae, silently demanding more.
"Did you invite me here just to make pancakes?"
"It's the only thing you know how to make, and you're really good at it, so make more."
"But you know, you can complain to us as much as you want, and we will always listen. But there's only so much we can do when you're not willing to have that talk with Z," Robaire said while handing T the pancakes Tae just made, T immediately digging in.
"You know, we're gonna be with Jesse tomorrow so you should talk to Z then." Tae said sitting down with the two.
"Does he know that?" T said stuffing his face,
"Who?" Tae asked confused.
"Jesse, does he know you're hanging out with him tomorrow?"
"It's a surprise," Robaire smirked.
T laughed, "One day I won't hear from you two again, and it'll be because he killed you both."
"He likes us deep down, but he's too prideful to admit it." Tae shrugged.
"We're the perfect friends,"
T took another bite, talking in-between chews, "Right now I'm eating this really good pancake and Aiden is making out with my boyfriend."
