"Why are you taking so long in the bathroom?" Z yelled from the bed.

T throws the door open and scoffs, "I want to look good?"

Z looked him up and down, "It's just the family dinner, and it's not your wedding, who are you trying to outdress?"

T's hair was still wet from his shower, and he was only wearing a towel.

"I'm not trying to outdress anyone, I just don't want to walk in looking like a bum." T then goes back into the bathroom.

"Whatever, just hurry up!"

Thirty or so minutes go by and T's phone starts going off.

"Come get your phone!"

"Bring it here."

Z scoffed and grabbed his phone and brought it to T.

He then answered it, "Hey mom."

"Where the hell are you two?"

"What do you mean? doesn't it not start for another hour?"

T looked at the time.

"It started fifteen minutes ago, Aaron."

T looked at Z, neither of them were dressed yet. T hung up and they both rushed to get dressed.

I can't believe we were forty five minutes late," Z said while flopping on the bed, prepared to fall asleep with his current clothes on.

"You didn't notice the time either." T sat down next to him.

"It's not MY aunt's wedding."

The actual dinner was great, after they spent the first five minutes apologizing for being late. They only got a few questions about thier relationship, and T answered all to Z's chagrin, he felt sort of bad for not being able to contribute.

"We should watch a movie," T said looking over at Z.

"No, we have a wedding to go to tomorrow."

"Fine."

"I'm going to bed, you should too." Z said standing up to change.

"Can I sleep on the bed then?" T asks standing up also.

"Fine, whatever."

They both changed and then got into bed.

"Are you actually going to bed?" T said while turning to face Z.

"Yeah I was planning too." Z rolled over to face T, "You're close."

T leaned closer, "Do you want me to be closer?"

Z pushed T's face away, "Just go to bed."

At the wedding venue the next morning, T and Z were sat at a table with some of T's family. Nothing very eventful happened so far, and Z was stuck in his own head when T's hand brushed over his own under the table.

"What are you doing?" Z whispered.

"Can I hold it?"

"Why?"

T pulled his hand back, "Nevermind."

Z reached over and grabbed his hand, putting them under the table. T moved his hand, intertwining their fingers, Z felt his face get hot. Why was T holding his hand if they were gonna hide it under the table?

"We should go dance,"

"We really shouldn't."

T rolled his eyes, "So then do you wanna sneak away?"

Z looked at him, "Sneak away where?"

"The garden behind the venue, I can have my cousin get us drinks." T shrugged.

Z could hardly concentrate on what T was saying because the only place in his body that had any sort of feeling, was his left hand that was tangled with T's right. Z almost tripped when T pulled him out of his seat towards the back of the venue, their hands were still clasped as T lead them to a deserted gazebo.

"Wait a second, I'll be back."

T let go of Z and jogged off into the venue, leaving Z to sit on the bench with his heart pounding in his ears, and his face bright red. T returned soon with two drinks in one hand and a plate of sweets in the other. Z took one of the drinks and started drinking it, trying to distract himself.

"Are you okay Z?"

He shrugged, "Yeah, I'm fine."

T scooted a bit closer to Z, sitting crisscross facing him. He took a sip of his drink and stared at his hands.

"Are you," T paused and lifted his head, looking irritated. "Are you not going to confess?"

Z felt his heart sink into the pit of his stomach, "What..?"

T looked at Z and continued to sip his drink, not speaking.

"T, what are you taking about?"

"I really thought you were going to confess to me on this trip, I'm getting sort of impatient."

"With what?" Z asked.

"You like me right?"

Z took a sip of his drink and shrugged. "I don't know."

"Liar."

Z sighed, "I don't know what you want me to say, T."

"I want you to confess to me."

"T-"

"I've been waiting all weekend and we go back tomorrow morning, I was gonna give you at least until tonight, but it started seeming like you weren't gonna do it."

"Well-"

"So since you aren't gonna say it I should, right?" T put his drink down, seeming a little more loose, "Aaron Z, I like you." Z felt warmness curl in his stomach, "And I guess I haven't said it before because I didn't think you liked me like that, but recently I had my suspicions that you liked me too. I started liking you so much it hurt to keep it in. Z, I'm in love with you, don't you love me too?"

Z didn't even hesitate, "I do. I love you, too."

T's face was tinted red and he started leaning in.

"Can i-"

"Yes." Z met T half way, pressing thier lips together. T tasted like thier drinks, and Z felt like he could kiss him forever.

"I want you to be my boyfriend." T whispered, their faces still close together.

"I don't know, I don't want to hurt you." Z replied, whispering.

"Then don't."

"You make it sound easy."

T laughed, "Because it is."

T cupped his face and places another kiss on his lips. "Just love me, yeah?"

Z nodded, "Yeah, yeah okay."
