"And these?"

"These are Fuyu Persimmons. Fruit of God. Becomes sweet after it firms."

"That over there?"

"Green one?"

"Nuh, the yellow."

"That's Buddha's Hand. Mostly used for ornamentals but can be served with desert."

"Hmm... Interesting."

Roaming around in the greenhouse, she could visualize her own garden, enriched with pretty exotic fruits and colorful flowers. It was an idea circling for a while in her mind; especially since the lounge opened at the other side of the road, biting down on a portion of their income. But if she is to establish a proper business like that, she needs to move into the town, where people are ready to spend money for luxury and status. Till now, it was none other than her uncle and her over the top conscience that stopped her from leaving the place. Her uncle was in his late sixties, screaming for orders and groceries from the reception table with his one foot already stepping on the other side of life. So as a young and aspiring woman, she needs to find her options rather than rotting in the countryside bar for the rest of her life.

Rebecca Frost will carry the beautiful, heartbreaking memories of her first love till her death; but she still craved for a family of her own.

Her visit to the town had two purpose. One is mentioned beforehand and the other one was close to some kind of goodwill and charity.

Walking out of the greenhouse farm, Rebecca helped herself with a chocolate smoothie and took the bus towards Cedars Sinai hospital. She looked outside the window, her mind filling up with memories of her city life, like pieces of a forgotten dream. The lyrics in her headphones said, 'Wait if I'm on fire, how am I so deep in love~'

She smiled on her own and thought about what she's going to say to him. The emotional mess she called her best friend wasn't going to achieve this on her own. She can't say that she isn't a little envious, but being able to experience something like that from a second person perspective and with a significant contribution to be made, Rebecca felt nothing but pure delight. She could feel the intensity of love her friend was burning with and in the back of her mind, she wanted that for herself too... Again.

On another thought, Rebecca was fully aware of the risk she was under for willing to become the wingman. As if it was a forbidden love; the two counterparts has bloomed into existence in two complete different worlds, making the connection the most preternatural. And if that wasn't enough, the universe planned the toughest of all adversities in their pathway. For some reason, Rebecca believed that it was nothing but for a greater purpose. A phenomenon, so bizzare and otherworldly, must need to go through every obstacle placed in its path to be meaningful; to borne something powerful out of it.

It was a once in a lifetime experience and Rebecca would love to be a part of the process. The question remains, would she be a major contributory factor in all that or turn out to be just a collateral damage in the end?

The bus stopped with tires screeching and Rebecca adjusted her blouse as she got down. Her heels clanking down the paved footpath, she walked towards the huge building situated transversely in her view, written 'Cedars Sinai Medical Centre' on top of a section.

Standing in front of the main entrance, Rebecca  took in the atmosphere for a while. Medical staffs were going in and out of the building with or without patients; every now and then paramedical vans arrived with trauma injuries; supplier logistics going around the building with medical stocks; maintenance ongoing on various parts of the building..... It was whole different universe.
